    One of my nieces received her MBA and my brother is having a dinner for her this Friday. What is an appropriate monitary gift?

    It depends what you can afford andh ow close you are to her. I would say a Benjamin in a card is good, but so is just a card if that fits your circumstances

The main premiss is that the world is filled with givers, takers, and matchers, but givers end up being the most successful. The author was one of the youngest tenured professors at Penn.     Thanks all. I am very close to her and my other niece. I'm the #1 Uncle by a long shot. I am also okay financially so I could afford a bit and we never had a dinner for her regular college graduation. So I think I'm going with $300.
