How much VP coin-in is required to reach Pearl?

If I have a free room via MyVegas we sometimes visit Mirage or NYNY.

25,000 Tier Credit is Pearl (VP earns 10TC for every $10):

    25,000 / 10 * 10 = 25,000 Coin In

or spend $1,000 on room/food:beverage/shows and you're there

Unless you hardly gamble and only eat fast food it's pretty easy to make pearl in a long weekend.

I would just park next door at a CET hotel (untill they start charging for parking) and walk to my hotel. But as mentioned above, Pearl is easy to get.

Any bets before CET and the rest follow? I'll take the under on January 2017. That said, it's extremely hard not to make pearl if you gamble/eat at all. So seems like this will only affect non-gamblers.

Why is it so complicated. If you are this, then you can do that. And if you are that, then you can do this. Shit.:bang:

I wonder if you can get the parking fees waived off your folio if you make pearl on your stay (i.e. you've started over after you re set to the bottom level due to non activity)

One of the sweetest posts I've read in a long time. How everyone would be equal, especially in Las Vegas of all places. :D

Don't know how to quote someone, but as far as tier credits go, isn't it 10 dollars played at vp equal to 1 tier credit? If so it would take 250k played thru to make pearl.

You're partially correct, you get a base point that equates to 10TC. It's 10 Tier Credit for $10, so basically $1/1TC

I always love this statement in the various threads. It's never been easy for me. I gamble mostly table games, however, I do play slots on occasion. I don't seem to have the magic elixir that makes a $100 last for an hour in a slot machine like I read in trip reports. Usually for me its more like 5 minutes. So rather than plow through $3k-$4k in slot machine losses I'd rather just pay the parking fee if I'd happen to have a car.

Closest I came to Pearl was when I stayed 2 nights in TheHotel one time (I think the room cost was something like $300/nt)

Was that your only trip of the year? That alone would've earned 60% of what it takes to reach Pearl. On top of that you would've only needed to cycle $1000 slots or spend $400 on food, entertainment etc. I don't mean any disrespect, how you spend your money or what you do on your trips is none of my business but really sounds strange that you couldn't reach Pearl even after $600 hotel bill.

I looked back, that was my 2nd of two trips, first trip was not a stay at MLife.

Some of us don't always budget $1000 to cycle through the slots, maybe I preferred to gamble on the tables more that time, can't remember. I don't mean disrespect but I get tired of the "its just so easy to make X level" statements; for alot of people it just isn't that simple.

I understand your point. Especially on this board which probably holds the most degenerated gamblers of all people. Sometimes it's good to remember that the overwhelming majority of MGM visitors are sapphire.
