    No help on your question. But baked french onion is my fav. One of our local restaurants provided a small scissors with each bowl to trim the cheese and make it easier to eat. I loved that.

    Le Village buffet does French Onion soup as does Mon Ami Gabi and Cafe Ile St Louis. The last time I had it at MAG it was awful. The cheese crouton had sunk into the soup and was a soggy mess.

    Ditto MAG...definitely the best I have ever had and I have tried them all over the US & in a couple of foreign countries..... it tastes like it maybe has sherry in it....a must on every trip!

    Best French Onion Soup I have ever had was at Prime in Bellagio!

    Strip Steak at Mandalay Bay. Add a caesar salad and a couple of glasses of wine - terrific meal!
