Around the year 2000, I went to Reno and played a Monopoly slot machine. I don't remember the exact name (I think it might have been once around), and when you hit the bonus round, two large dice on top spun in a glass/plastic case, and you got to go around the board one time. For some reason I took a liking to this game. Does is still exist anywhere? I know there are newer versions of the monopoly game, but this one really stuck with me. Thanks for any info.
Sorry I cant help either, the closest to that I can think of is Jackpot Station. Train theme, on bonus you roll dice and move around the board. Where you end on the board determines bonuses, etc. Most of the monopoly games that come to mind are heavy on theme and light on actual monopoly board play. Or they are just a different non-monopoly game that has had a monopoly "skin" thrown on it.
Casino Royale has a couple of Monopoly machines, as did Cosmo the last time I was there. Not sure if they're the version you want, though...
Last time I saw Once Around anywhere, it was at Mermaids several years ago. WMS would make a killing reintroducing the original games with more pay lines and fresher graphics compared to the new Monopoly games they have launched. The newer ones just suck.
There is an old school one with the reels at Tropicana last time I was there a year ago. Not the dice one, but one that has been around for many years.
I got hooked on the Monopoly video slots a while back but it seems like the newer ones do not pay worth {s-bomb}! Ditto with the Clue slots, which I was excited about when they came out. Better name for those is "20 dollar bill eater!"
