    Morning all,

Planning the annual two week trip to Vegas later in the year, staying at Cosmo and Aria.

Just wondered if anyone has been to Skyfall Lounge and if so, has any positive or negative comments either way.

Looking for a nice rooftop bar overlooking the strip and have been to Ghost Bar on a previous trip.

    Thanks in advance

    Rubos

It is great!! Went there in December. Great little patio to stand on outside and have drinks as well as BIG high back couches throughout the lounge. The view is stunning at night.
Oh and the elevator ride up is cool also, its all glass and outside the building. Decent drinklist as well and the staff was super attentive. We were there on a Friday night and it wasnt at all crowded.

For those wondering like me... Skyfall lounge is at the top of Delano.

Do you have to be a guest to use it? or pay a cover?

Interested in this as well. Would be a cool place to have a couple drinks before dinner.

Does Skyfall maintain the sunset toast that Mix had?

You don't have to be staying at MB or Delano. I have never seen a cover around dinner time or before. Never gone later, that's when it turns more like a club/ultra lounge.

Is the MIx restaurant still there? I think I have an old Restaurant.com or groupon for Mix.

Mix is now Rivea. Same chef is behind it though (Alain Ducasse)

Yes, but it's just for Delano guests (not sure if it was different before?).

I went to Skyfall about a week ago and it was pretty nice. I only went to Mix once and that was about a year ago. It didn't look drastically different. It was raining the night that I went so the patio was closed. Wasn't too busy so my friend and I were able to grab a table by the window. Drinks were good, don't think they were too pricey. No cover charge (it was 10 or 11 on a Tuesday).

Since you'll be close to MO, I recommend checking out their bar there. Pretty solid view and a good drink list.

Skyfall is stunning. Probably the best view...of anything...I've ever seen in my life. You can just barely see the tip of the Stratosphere , 4 miles away. The best time to go IMO is around 5:30-6p before the crowds really roll in. It's expensive for a happy hour spot but the apps aren't half bad (way better than MiX) and the cocktails are very solid.

Went to skyfall first week of May and loved it. View was great. no cover. there's a digiad at the bottom of the elevator that says "no cover 5p-7p." I asked the hostess what the cover was after 7p and she said "they don't charge one." must be a marketing thing.
macallan12 was over $18 a glass, for a price point perspective.
    Picture of said macallan attached.

We used to love going up to the Mix for happy hour. Does anyone know if Skyfall allows men to wear dress shorts?

Skyfall is really great and love the view- I went around 7pm last weekend and it wasn't really crowded as you can still get a seat at the bar or can enjoy the view outside.

I have been to Mix/Skyfall many times. Mostly always early evening for a drink or 2 before dinner or heading out for the night.
    I highly recommend it.
I never had to pay a cover.
As mentioned previously, drinks are a tad expensive, but certainly in line with other high-end bars, and I feel worth it for the great view.
It's cool to arrive around 6, when it is still light, and then stay for an hour or so and watch the sun go down and the lights come on.

I went again last Tuesday. I went after seeing MJ One, last call was at 11:30, and it was quiet up there. It's not a bad place to grab a nightcap if you're ending your night before midnight.
