Having booked a week at the luxor for september using an offer of 4 comp days, $75 FP and $100 RC i thought i had been very generously treated.

Since then i have received what appear to be much better offers, so i have done what i dont like doing and cancelled the luxor booking and rebooked.

2 x comp nights at mirage, $100 FP and $100 RC (but have to pay resort fee of $67.20)

2 x comp nights at excaliber, $100 FP and $150 RC (all tax and resort fees included) excaliber was the only resort that i could use an offer over the weekend!!

This leaves me with 3 nights midweek in between these offers that i need to find a hotel to stay. Are there any websites that offer cheap deals or am i best going direct to the hotel websites. I am looking for a strip hotel. The cheapest i have found is circus circus, but i spent 5 minutes in there last year and the perfume smell gave me a headache!!

    Thanks

What about Monte Carlo? It is in my experience the most affordable 4-star resort on the Strip and at a perfect location, right at the middle between Excalibur and Mirage, so you can explore a different area of the Strip.

You can best book directly via the site, as you will still get better offers when you log on with your players club account, besides the comp offers you already got (as far as I know they are not related to each other, but I could be wrong here).

If you're on a budget there is the linq or the casino royal if you're going by location

Please anyone, correct me if I'm wrong! But as far as I know the offers on the site are your personal offers and the comp offers are on top of that. You cannot use the comp offers back to back, but if you book a room for the days in between, you still only pay the price you see when you log on with your account.

Now I think of it more, that also totally makes sense. Cause the hotel would cut their own fingers, if they chase you to the competitor for those nights in between. They still want you in their hotel/casino.

but when i booked my 2 comp nights at mirage, i also asked if i could book another 3 days at the mirage whilst on the phone to her and i was told that would infringe on my offer later in the week at excaliber. :nono: i think i may avoid mgm properties for these 3 days haha

Each property is basically an entity of it's own, usually. Another option would be to talk to a host wherever you want to stay and see what they'll do. If you're getting comp offers like that, you must give some decent play, so it's worth a shot.

    Good Luck!

thanks ric, although im certainly not a valued enough player for a host. it was my first time in vegas so i believe this is my 'teaser' offer to get me back  i will be making sure i get a total rewards card on this trip to see if i can get a decent caesars offer for the following year! caesars properties seem very expensive compard to mgm though
