Da Ji Da Li was a major butt saver for me when I first found it and it was still brand new(I had been down considerably down and this game basically made me about $50 ahead rather than being virtually wiped out), but now it is an butt kicker for me and I am beginning to hate it.

A $20 is gone in less than 2 minutes and I no longer think of it as being a bankroll saver but a bankroll killer. Sad how this game actually saved me when I was almost completely wiped out. :( The thing that eats the bankroll so fast is that they put the Bonus symbols so close together and let you press "stop", so you inadvertently JUST miss the middle symbol that would give a Bonus game.

It's human nature to automatically press "stop" when the first Bonus symbol comes up and you actually think you will get the middle symbol and then the third one, only for you to JUST miss that middle symbol, or worse when the two Bonus symbols come up and you JUST miss the third one. I hate that you have to get the three bonus symbols in consecutive row!

It's such a sh-tty feeling when two bonus symbols come up, you miss the third one,a nd then the final two show up in the back taunting you. I love the Bonus symbols that allow you to get the Bonus where ever the three or more Bonus symbols land.

So, what slots saved your butt first, but now kick your butt

Back in 2010 or 2011 I played a $1 top dollar machine because I was waiting on a dinner reservation. Had never played one before. I was down about $30 when I got the bonus. It offered me $20. Nope, I need to break even. Next offer $15. Crap, should have taken the $20. The third was another $15. There was one more offer so I figured I couldn't do worse. Final offer was $1K. I was in shock. First time I ever played it and got the top prize. I've been hooked ever since. Although I hit the grand a few more times I shutter to think how much I've dropped in those; especially when I stepped up to higher denominations. I also hit $1700 on 2 game TD machine with double diamonds and 7s. Cannot pass one of those machines without playing.

Ultimate X. I hit 2 hand-pays the first time I gave the machine serious play - mostly because I was staying at NY NY and was already bored with the machines in the casino. I definitely have a love/hate relationship with these machines, and they have ruined me for regular VP.

Anything in the High Limit Room.. I've been bailed out a couple times... Buried and performing inappropriate acts behind the dumpster for a ride home, weekly.

There was a Lobstermania machine near the escalators at TI that was like my personal ATM machine. Double my buy-in everytime. I used to have a lot of luck with that game all over town, but now it's dried up somewhat.

Yeah, with a $20, you get over 200 spins versus a .50 a spin which only gives you 40 spins with the same $20! Not bad at all!:D

Quarters Quick Hit machines are my best friends. I can play for hours on those. My biggest win though came off a Mystical Unicorn machine ($1500)
