I logged onto the TR website this afternoon (slow day at work) to see if there was anything new for my June 17 trip. Lo and behold, I had a comped Jubilee Celebrity Suite at Bally's. I called my host and asked her to change my reservations from PH to that upgraded suite. My host, Marie, asked to call me back in two minutes while she made the reservations.

Ten minutes later, I get an email from her saying my number didn't work (she quoted me a number that was off by one digit) and that she cancelled my old reservation but I would have to book my own Bally's suite since she couldn't find it.

Sure enough, sometime in that ten minute span when she couldn't talk to me over the phone, the site had removed my comped suite offer.

I emailed back telling her not to contact me until I've spoken to a manager, but I'm not holding my breath that she's going to be passing along my request.

Should have screen shot it, if it wouldn't allow you to book it.

Well to be fair, there's no guarantee you wouldn't have been bumped from the suite when you checked in had you been able to book it.

That is what happened to me, booked and not available when I arrived. Still not a nice thing to happen to you. You would think as a host the would have more discretion.

Suites are given out on a pecking order, depending on who's in town when you are. If a casino has 10 suites, they're going to go to the 10 biggest players they have at that time. Sometimes that might mean that a player with a $1M credit line is getting bumped out (like on SB weekend), sometimes that might mean a $100/hand BJ player is in one of the best rooms in the house. Hosts have discretion/clout, but they aren't going to use that to make sure a small player gets a suite.

Only anthology suite I've got comp'd throught he website is one at Bally's, but I'd rather keep my Laurel Premium w/ strip view At Caesars. Though I've never had a problem getting Hunter to comp me a queen Suite as Linq (which is showing $150 a night for me), which means I could probably get a suite at PH comp'd as well, since it's showing at $129 a night.

I was checking NYE dates on Wednesday and it showed the Jubilee Celebrity Suite available to me. I checked later in the day and still available. I am Platinum (the real way) and I knew this must be a mistake. Just checked now, Celebrity Suite is nowhere to be found. Probably just some glitch. Just my 2 cents.

The suites were there for me until yesterday. I have the Jubilee Grand Suite reserved, so now it's a crap shoot to see if we really get it next week. Fingers crossed!

Big warning. Just because it shows it as available to be booked does not mean you can ACTUALLY book it.

In the case of the OP, that may well be exactly what happened. You may have seen it, but if you tried to book it, it might not allow you. And of course, the host could not do it either.

in biloxi they have listed the parlor suite online many times, I have booked it and got it no problem, when they didnt have it and id ask for it, they would say they will try but no promise and Id never get it. they do that with many 7* players I know, they will tell them if I get there and its not available im leaving and they have left many times for other casinos

so i booked again for my birthday in june and its on there, selected and good to go, nope, girl going out of town so i need to move it back a week but no suite on those dates, host called me as i was about to call her and I told her i needed to move the trip back a week, she said no problem, i asked if we could still get the suite also and she said that they arent supposed to list suites online and dont know how i booked it but its by the host manager who gives those out ect...again she said she will ask but no promises, so im pretty sure I wont get a suite, they wont get much play either if I dont.

looked ahead for august for the girls birthday and suite listed again, all comped so booked that to piss someone off and then looking early june for another vegas trip, ballys had a suite available...if they decline me ill just cancel and stay at a friends house if need be.

Yea, I have that problem with the newly remodeled rooms at pH, they show as available to be booked but then I get an error message when I try to book it :(

Had the same thing happen to me in the past. I think their website is glitch a lot or they do bait and switch, which I won't put past them.
