Being so close to the M Resort, I'm surprised they haven't struck some sort of arrangement with them.

The article's 3 years old; took a quick look to see if they'd survived their rough times.

Here's their current website, with info: http://lionhabitatranch.com/

Did I understand this right. It's a so called retirement home for lions and all the cubs that are born in there, will stay there for ever? While I understand that the "MGM lions" have spent their entire life in captivity and there's nothing that can be done to them besides ensuring them a nice home and good conditions for the rest of their lives. But there's ansolutely ZERO reasons why they should raise newborn cubs in there. Those animals are not supposed to live in a cage for people's entertainment, they belong into the wild. This makes me sick.
