Weekend trip to Vegas 4/15-4/18 at Aria

Trying out a trip report. Leaving Milwaukee on Friday at 655pm on Southwest and landing in LV at 845pm. Taking my girlfriend Amy out there for a getaway away from reality. Got 3 nights comped at Aria with 150 in freeplay and 100 resort credit. We have a 13 month old son and Amy is a stay at home mom, so she could really use a vacation. I could use a trip to Vegas too, since I used to go a few times a year and haven't been there since October of 2014. Having withdrawals....lol. I play pretty much every game in the house so kind of go by feel. Looking forward to playing some FB Bj, UTH, craps and prob lots of slots if we do a little "casino crawl" down the strip. Not too many plans. Want to hit the pool for a little bit, and Zarkana on Saturday night thanks to My Vegas. I'll prob just post a bunch of pics and give a summary after, but who knows.

Took a break from packing and watching typical pre Vegas movies (Oceans11, Hanover, 21, rounders) and figured I'd start a thread since I've been reading other people's to get pumped the last couple weeks. Taking a little over 4 g's out there. The 'envelope' system has worked well for me in the past, sometimes... So going to try that again. Since I tend to take advantage of the "free" drinks and fall into the trap that the casinos like, I start to bet a lot higher and crazy. Sometimes it works out good, other times I throw my last pocket change in a fountain on the way to the airport and say See you next time Vegas.

Make sure you buy your my vegas rewards prior to getting to vegas. When you get there it determines your location and doesn't offer 2/3rds of the offers you see at home

Thanks for the heads up, I had no idea. We got a few buffets and some freeplay. We have 90 days to cancel it says and get our coins returned, so we will see. Either way we have more tentative things on our agenda now. Still wanna try shake shack and I'm a big fan of in and out burger too. Simple food after a few drinks works for me [emoji4]

No prob. The wife and I went out last week from OK and the only buffets they had available while in town was Excalibur and monte Carlos. Most of the shows disappeared too. Good luck out there. Win all that I gave em.
