We are going to Vegas in Sept has anyone used Lyft or Uber drivers? Are they reliable when you want to be picked up or dropped off . We are not high tech people how easy is it to use and download the app. Looks like you can pay through pay pal?

    Thanks:wave:

Just before you head out download both. They each have great sign up bonuses. That will definitely cut your cost to ride. I am an uber user locally. I downloaded lyft before last Decembers trip and got 5 $10 ride credits. I think my most expensive ride was $9 from Paris to downtown. The other 4 rides were either free or less than a dollar.

If I can figure it out, Anyone can!

Yeah, you can basically try them each for free with the initial bonus and then decide which, if either, you think is better.

It's a toss up for me. The service by both companies was fantastic. We were offered water and snacks and the drivers were always friendly. Make sure you don't sign up for Lyft too early. The 5 ride $10 credits expire fairly quickly after you download the app. We will never take a taxi in Vegas again.

I would download Lyft when you get there. I thought you had to be IN Vegas to get the 5X$10off rides?

Anyway, thats when I plan to download it.

The pickup area at McCarran is clearly marked. Its basically on the 2nd floor of the Self pkg garage area.
(thats when I fly in Southwest, Not the other terminal.)

Where would the pickup terminal be if you fly Jet Blue?

The current Lyft new user promo is $50 off your first ride...on one site it says that this is $10 off of your 1st 5 rides)
I don't know which it is--$10 off 5 rides is fantastic. $50 for one ride is not a good value in Vegas.
The current groupon deal: $5 gets you 3-$10 rides.
