Walking To/From Smith Center

We might go and see a 7.30pm show in the Smith Center. From the Plaza, the walk along Main St and W Bonneville looks straightforward enough, any reason not to walk it?

 

I see lots of folks walking it during the day.

 

My sister and I did it, but it was a matinee so the walk back was at dusk. It went fine. Be aware of surroundings, etc

 

I did a loop from MSS to the outlets and back several times during the day. It was fine.

 

I'm not that familiar with the area - only made the drive there and back to MSS once, but I don't think that area is well lit at night.

By yourself at night, I would be cautious. If a group of 2 or 3, I'd have no worries.
Daylight hours no problem at all.

 

Cheers folks. I suspect we'll walk there from Fremont but get a cab back to our hotel as we'll be staying at the Encore for the first few nights. It's our first full day and we'll have an 8 hour time difference to contend with!

 

My searches say go Main to Ogden to Grand Central Pkway. .8 mile. Is it any better?
