This is weird, but it's happened to me three times while sitting and playing at a vp bar. Twice in Vegas and once in CT.

Here's how it's gone down. I sit at the bar because it's social and I talk and joke with the people next to me and the bartenders. My husband is usually with me and was for two of these occasions. He's really funny too. At Caesars old sports book I was getting beat and just throwing money away. Told the couple next to me that that was enough and I needed to take a break. The husband took out a hundo and tried to put it in my game. I said, that's not necessary, I have money, I'm just not hitting. The wife said, pls take it. We're having fun and don't want you to leave. My husband was a couple of games down from me and doing well so I thanked them and said I'll put another hundred in of my own and hang out a while longer. I can't rember if I won but they were a nice older couple in their 60s and we did have a good time.

The other 2 times were really similar. One at Ballys and one at a local casino. I've never accepted their money except one time at Foxwoods a guy hit a good foak and gave me $20 bc he said he wouldn't have hit it if I wasn't there since he would have left. He hit for $1000 so I was ok with that and I tipped for his drinks after that.

I guess if your nice to people they want to be nice to you.

    B.

A few years back at my local casino, I was playing at a slot in a row of 5, and the machine to my left was the only one not occupied. The four of us gals playing were strangers but we were being social and having a good time. Another gal walks up and sits at the empty machine. She puts a bill in and makes a bet (penny machine), 1st spin she gets the bonus. Of course we all glance over, I say wow 1st spin bonus congrats, and see that she bet max ( $6), and say wow on max bet too...she says oh shit I meant to bet minimum but oh well maybe I'll hit for $100 or something haha. So we all get back to talking and spinning and then notice her machine making the "good hit" noise, we all look and she says what did I win...I look and say you got a couple of line hits for...looks like 100 each...uh no, looks like 1000 each!!! We are all looking now, saying OMG and congratulations and all that, she sits there stunned! When the bonus is finished she gets the "jackpot call attendant" thing, it's for over $7000. While waiting for the handpay she says she was just gonna kill a few minutes at minimum bet cause she was on her way home, she is just floored. She gets paid, then gives each of us 4 gals a 20, and says yall are so fun and nice, take it and I hope you hit a jackpot too. And left.

Should we have been insulted with a 20? Haha.

Some creepy guy was hitting on my wife at a poker bar. My wife cashed out to leave and the CG offered to put money in for my wife to stay.

No. Not at all. That was nice of her. You weren't friends or knew each other.

yes, many years ago at the LVHilton i was alone playing blackjack at a $5 table and doing pretty good.
this guy that watching asked if he could sit in, i said sure.
he called critter over and asked to make the table $100 minimum...
i started to pick up my chips and leave when the dealer told me i was grandfathered. at the time i didn't what that meant.
so the guy says to me... i like the way you play( which was straight basic strategy)
then he says if i bust out he'll toss me a few chips. he ended up giving me about $100 in chips
while he made what must have been at least $20,000, when he was ready to leave he
gave me a black chip and the dealer must have gotten about $500.
i asked the dealer who that guy was and was told he was a rich australian
and he did that a lot.

At Atlantis casino last year, I sat down in the anchor spot of a $10 table. The guy at first base was playing two hands at $2-3000 each! He said" I hope you play better than the guy who just left. I play basic strategy by " the book", and said he shouldn't have any problems with me. First hand, dealer has a six and I stay on 13....dealer busts, and first guy throws me $100 chip and says it's my reward for playing correctly! I thank him, and said not to worry about it, and throw the chip back to him. He gets a little irate and tells me I HAVE to take the chip for karma, so I sheepishly accept it. The next two hands, I bust, but I play my hands correctly, and first base throws me another $100 chip for each hand! He says" I think the Good Karma is back...are you good with that?" I said yes, and am laughing about making $200 on two $10 hands that I lost! When I finally left the table, first base was still there, and with $33,000 in front of him

At Monte Carlo a few years back playing 3 card poker. I wasn't playing the bonus bet you had to have the dealer load the machine with chips and you could select to play bonus on dealers hand, yours or both. The guy next to me asked why I wasn't playing it then tossed 25 to the dealer and told her to load my machine. I ended up hitting it a couple times for decent payouts. We ended playing for a few hours because the cards were good. Our wives could not get us away from the table so they went out to eat dinner and all four of us still talk to each other on a regular basis even though we live half the country away.

Okay, this jogs my memory on a silly man on my last trip. We are playing Let it Ride and I am the only one betting for the super huge payout, the sucker bet at $5 a pop. He starts asking me about it and I explained it and then he asked me if I won the jackpot how much would I give him. And I said put out your own bet and you will win an envy bet if I win. He did not like this and started to scream at me for being selfish and rude and a bad person. I said, woah, woah man, why are you arguing with me over something that HAS NOT HAPPENED? He continued to mumble at me. He was drunk so I did not take it too personally and to hell I would give him any of my jackpot when I'm the only one betting it.

Last October, my husband and I were playing VP and watching the Cubs in the NLCS at the Tag Bar @ Linq. We met a nice couple from a town very close to where I'm from in Illinois. We had been doing very well that day and told the bartender we wanted to buy the rest of their drinks. He said to just give them $20 for each of their machines and it would be better for everyone in the long run. So, we did. The amount of money was nothing and I think they thought it was cool.

This just happened to me at Harrah's at a DD game. There was three of us playing, one guy left, then the other guy decided he was done and handed me a 100., to bet under my own wager. Next thing you know we both lost a hundred. Then, just like that I was on my own again and killed it :)

Craps table at Harrah's. Guy standing next to me was very talkative (Speed?). Anyhow, he was a player and was winning. He kept giving me $5 to play the Field, saying now we have every number covered and it drives the pit boss crazy. I walked away after 2 hours with $1600 profit on a $100 buy in. Guy begged me to stay but my arthritic hip was screaming.

Played craps with a guy that kept running over and dumping chips in me and my wife's rack every time we threw a point or one of his other bets. He seemed to be having fun with it so we didn't stop him. It was hundreds, not singles here and there.

I played 3CP there once, and didn't play the bonus. A friend of mine played it and convinced me to play it. On the third or fourth hand, I got a 3, 4, and 7 of clubs. The two hole cards were a 5 and 6 of clubs. I ended up winning 10% of the Royal Flush jackpot. That got me $2800. I proceeded to get a three-card straight flush a few hands later while betting it a little more because I won the $2800 earlier. It never occurred to me to give my friend a dime because he suggested I play the bonus. Still doesn't.

But I have placed Double-Down bets for girls who didn't think to do it and won for them more times than not.

Not much, but I was slot hopping at Excalibur, and I sat down at this one machine, but it wouldn't take my ticket. I tried a few times more, with no luck. So the guy that was playing on the next machine just put a $1 bill in my machine, completely out of the blue. It would have been a nice gesture if he hadn't proceeded to ask if I wanted to come to his room and *party*.

I had the opposite happen. A woman came up to the bar in Orleans and sat down next to me. She sais "just so you know, I'm not a hooker." She said she ran out of money and just wanted to talk to a nice gentleman. After a few minutes of me not offering to give her money to play, she left. I wanted to ask, does that mean sex is out of the question, or just that I don't have to pay for it, but didn't want to encourage her.
