Super Bowl 2017

You are going to think I'm crazy, but I just booked my rooms for Superbowl weekend 2017.
Why you say? Because at this time of year the rooms for 4 days are comp. Feb. 2, 2017 - Feb. 6, 2017
I go to LV for SB ever year. My play is the best/heaviest for SB weekend. With the guys and pounding for 4 days straight.
So my comps are best right after SB month.
If I check the rates one month before SB, the same 4 nights would be $800. Happens every year.

Not crazy at all Joe..where are you booked at? Any favorite team or matchup you want to see make it?
I make opening NFL week every year (Going on # 14 straight) and already have a couple nights booked.

Staying at Harrahs. I'm an Eagles homer. Like our new coach and DC.
I try to get to LV for the 1st or second week of NFL. But SB has been 15 straight in LV

 

Totally not crazy. Had a great time this past Superbowl weekend, can't wait to go in 2017.

 

I'll be staying where I live that weekend. I live in Houston, about a mile from the stadium where the Super Bowl will be played, & I'm a Texans season ticket holder. I'm hoping for a chance to buy a ticket for my seat for the Big Game. Plus I want to go to the festivities that lead up to the game.

Because I have about a 0.1% chance of getting a ticket I'm thinking of going to Vegas to avoid all the craziness. I've done the super bowl festivities in New Orleans and I don't have faith in the Houston officials handling a big event well. Not just that but even restaurants and bars are caught ill prepared.
