A Good Start to My Next Vegas BR!!

It has been a pretty good week of local gambling. Some late night partying at a local watering hole last weekend lead to putting $10 into a VP machine as we were waiting for an Über.... 3 hands in and BOOM!






And just tonight took my little brother and his friend up to the local card room and walked away a winner playing blackjack for two hours!







A few more trips like this, and I might be in the HL room!!!! hahaha but seriously it has been a great week. 86 more days!!

 

That's funny because I hit four deuces a couple of weeks ago also !!! But I have to say I'm embarrassed to admit I play on those machines because the odds are terrible....

 

Oof. Glad to hear it was only small stakes. That's a 91.20% return on DW.

 

Really embarrassed lol.... I know they are terrible, but like I said it was a drunk $10 waiting for an Uber, so what the heck lol

 

Yeah I imputed it into The wizzard's calculator and figured that out a few days after. Brutal. It was only a drunk $10, and I usually have a staunch rule against gambling where I live, so I don't get out of control degen mode lol.

 

A couple weeks ago I had to go to a meeting in Niagara Falls. Seneca Niagara casino was right across the street so I stopped in for a buffet dinner. Play VP for a while afterwards and got aces with kicker for $500. Nice little addition to my vegas bankroll.

 

If that's a drunk $10, my advice as a doctor is that you start carrying more Hamiltons and going to more bars.
