    My Trip Report

As I am typing this I am waiting for the magical 4:50 pm to hit the clock so I can get my Southwest Boarding Pass (screw you early bird check-in). I might as well be extremely honest, this will probably not be a "live report" as I become the exact opposite person I must be in my "real life" here in OHIO. Here I must be punctual, sober, self-less, and healthy (workout and eat very clean). In Vegas I am the antithesis. I become a selfish (DOIN' ME' DRAKE ATTITUDE), footloose and fancy free dude that gets to throw the freakin Khakis and dress shirts in the closet for a week. This peacock needs to strut different feathers. This is the only vacation where I actually get tensed up/nervous anxiety where I can't sleep the night before. What the hell is wrong with me? LOVE ME SOME VEGAS!!!

Hooking up with some other Vegas Message Boarders so that will be fun. I have a cabana arranged by my host at Hard Rock for Friday. Weather is supposed to be solid Friday so BRING ON THE CORONAS, MIXED DRINKS, AND YES THE WEST COAST PLASTIC LADIES TO OGLE! LOL I am a cheap ass with an Iphone4 so Tap-a-Talk might not happen, but I promise a pristine full Trip report upon my return from the land of Caligula. Funny how I won't buy an upgraded phone but I'll throw $500 on black as soon as I arrive at the Hard Rock tomorrow eve without a care in the world. LOVE IT!!! It is fun to play make believe for a week and escape the grind of day-to-day life here in the Rust Belt.

    Goals:
-Not to drink on the plane flight out (fail I always bring mini bottles of bailey's and vodka)
-Go Hoosiers. Making a bet of $730 on the Hoosiers Moneyline for Friday night. Pays roughly $2,150 so GO BIG TEN/GO HOOSIERS.
-Tosh Friday is booked. My VMB'ers will be pissed at me but a lady friend bought tix and she is a cutie. No XS for me, but Drais' After Hours is a goal!!!!!!!
-To somehow get a b-day cake delivered to the Rehab Pool Friday for my boy JoastTheMost!
-NOT SPEND BANKROLL IN FIRST 24 hours. Been a problem in the past, now I just leave bankroll (3k this trip) in the safe first night and just get hammered.
-Will place $500 on black when I do meet up with the VMB'ers. Will let you know the outcome.
    -Peppermill restaurant is a goal.
-Get out to Red Rock Casino
-Get down to SLS while it's still new.
-Get a Verbana YOU BOARDERS ARE ALWAYS TALKING ABOUT (IS IT IN VESPER BAR)
-Yes, I'm single so I think you already know what another goal of a 37 year old man might be! LOL We shall see. Not paying for it. Welllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll if many hand pays come my way we shall see.
    -TAG
-Oshea's for my traditional car bombs and Video Poker. This isn't even a goal it's a certainty.
-High Limit at Planet Hollywood. Funny how we all have our go to spots. That area has always treated me well.
    -Cash Cash at Marquee Dayclub.
-Drink till "it's blue" out Sunday night Monday morning at Drai's After Hours. Never been to the old Drai's or the new so gotta check it out.
-Avoid Hash House a go go. Done it too much.
-Earl of Sandwich always sucks me in.
-Lay poolside/keep it VERY LOW KEY Monday and Tuesday to gear up for "Last Hurrah" Wednesday night and Thursday night. Try to leave a winner.
    -Possibly hike Red Rock Tuesday.
-Love Karaoke at Ellis Island, it's going down!!!
    -Eat, Drink, and Be Merry
-Two workouts, going to try and workout at least 2 times . . . this is last for a reason as we walk soooo much anyways.

    Dont's

Don't worry about "the grind" for 8 days. Enjoy the present moment. Life truly is short but sweet for certain. Dave Matthews is right.

Take care and I will try to update, possibly in the a.m.'s when hydrating/recovering!!!! I will do ALL OF YOU PROUD, LET'S ROLL!

    GO BUCKS!

This looks to be an exciting thread! I'll keep an eye out for sure and have fun!

Lol, funny that you said no hash house because I plan on going there when I'm in Vegas. I've never been...there are two though. One @ Rio and one @ Linq.

    Stay safe!

Freakin' B37. And I mean I clicked check-in like right as the clock hit 4:50. Spot on!! Similar to 6:5 BlackJack on the strip if people play it they'll keep it. Clearly over 90 people paid $12.50 for early bird check-in so why would SWA stop with the program. More ways to pinch the consumer. I used to check in like this and get A15, A9? The Glory Days!!! lol

Definitely will! Pics might come later, but I'll try to do some as I go as well. If it was a 4 day trip I'd say no on the LIVE report, but I will not be rushed as I have 8 days so yeah I am gonna attempt to do this somewhat "Liveish." Is that a word? :)
