I remember seeing something on here and I couldn't find the post about several bars that offer a free happy hour. I believe this was at the Linq and Cromwell. Can anybody confirm which bars and hours. Was this a pretty easy process of just showing your diamond card? Are you allowed a guest also? Can you order anything?

Yes the bar at the Cromwell and Bar 3535 at the Linq. The posters said it was good for Diamond card holder and one guest like the lounges and they didn't swipe their card, just looked at it. I imagine that will change soon enough though as anyone can find a diamond card left behind at a machine.

Even if they don't swipe your card, I would assume they at least check your ID along with your diamond card? Swiping alone means nothing if they aren't verifying its you by checking your ID.

Does anyone know what you can and can't order at 3535? I remember them having a pretty extensive list of specialty cocktails there.

They allow you to order any of the specialty cocktails and infused alcohols. The only thing they prohibit are the super premium top shelf liquors. It's actually very nice and some of the drinks are tasty!

Does anyone know if the Cromwell diamond reception is at Bound, or the other bar? Bound has some great drinks, so this is welcomed news to me!

Yes, I'm pretty sure it was at Bound.

Had never seen this before. I have paid for drinks at both those places not knowing I could have had them for free with my Diamond card. Thanks for the info.

They are only free during the hours the Diamond clubs are open at the other CET properties.

According to previous poster at other thread:
3535 Bar in the Linq from 4-7pm every day. On Sat and Sun some food is also available. You can order drinks off of the menu.

At the bound bar you can only get wine, champagne, and two select drinks from the menu. The two select drinks were the breakfast martini and spicy fifty. I don't think this changes but I could be wrong

FYI....I went to 3535 yesterday and they've changed their policy. Now, you can only get well drinks and domestic beers for free from 4-7. No more speciality cocktails, infused alcohols, or imports. Bartender said bean counters cracked down on what they were allowed to give out and they actually had to sign agreements to the new policy.

Damn, CET laying down the hammer. I mean the cost-cutting needs to happen. I have a feeling a couple more big surprises will be coming from CET, hopefully nothing with huge residual effects as I was considering the card offer.

If by chance you ever get to Tahoe and go to Harrahs or Harveys they are 2 free drinks at a time free for Diamonds/7*. You can only get 2 at a time but you can literally get 2 more 1 min later. Tried that in Vegas and got laughed at.

Sucks, but I wouldn't doubt they were bleeding some money with the old policy. Also, did they actually swipe your card to get drinks? Check ID? If neither of these were done, I could see random people taking the drinks and not being diamond, or not play there that day.

Hopefully they didn't make some huge changes to TAG Lounge...it probably will happen...eventually. Bartender said they were eventually going to shave the menu down.

At literally every bar. The only places you don't get free drinks is in the restaurants and in the concerts. Otherwise just walk up to a bar in the casino show your diamond/7* card and get 2 free drinks, no playing necessary. I've even gotten 2 straight cans of redbull from them at a time.

Can you get free drinks from Tag Bar during 4-7pm if you're diamond? I ask because Caesars does have a diamond lounge. If the answer's yes, is it only between 4-7pm?

TAG bar is at Linq, so not sure why you're mentioning the fact that Caesars has a DL, but I believe the free drinks at Linq are only at 3535 (circle bar by registration).

Re: the well drinks and domestics only, I was told the same thing last weekend. I then went ahead and ordered a grey goose and soda, which she made for me. So it doesn't seem that strict.
