Making the jump FROM mlife to??? Where should I go?

Well,
I have decided to leave mlife and focus most of my play at another property (s). What are your recommendations?

Im leaving mlife because the offers dried up and are a joke for my level of play. My history with them has me up significantly ( high 6 figures) and I am assuming this plays into the lack of offers.

I'm really surprised its difficult for you to find a new base, given your bankroll. You would surely attract a host within minutes. What kind of offers are you specifically looking for? I imagine it must extend past a comp suite and F&B. Personally, I think it's great if you are up at that level that MLIFE have you pegged for. I'd rather pay for everything and win that any day over receiving comps.

 

If you really don't have a play history anywhere else, go everywhere else. Next trip, stop in at Wynn, V/P, Caesars and Cosmo and give them each an hour's play, you should get offers you can use to try out the hotels.

 

At that level of bet any of the high end properties would serve you fine. It kind of depends on what kind of atmosphere you want. You'd fit in fine at Wynn, Venetian, Cosmo, etc..

 

Wow...I'm really surprised at your level of play that you are not receiving more. Have you worked with a host? What property did you stay at? How many trips per year? Something is not right here. I'm a little north of you in my bankroll and play and get full RFB, and extras are comped on the back end, plus I get upfront free play. What THEO do they have you in the system at? I've been a dedicated MLife guy now for 5 years now and never had an issue with comps, offers etc. I work directly with my host to book trips regardless of what the company marketing offers are as she always does better than the company offers.

 

Vegas hates winners, MGM especially so. Take your play downtown and you will be treated like a God, if you like their offerings. Near strip Palms and Hard Rock you wlll be treated well for that level of play. On strip, well CET doesn't exactly love
table players but you should be able to get comp'd there. What are you playing? It helps to know what the house edge is. If its craps, BJ, or Baccarat you could try Wynn or V/P. Having a credit line at the properties in your bankroll helps to get noticed as well.

Some of the other guys who are large table players should be able to answer this question better, maybe give you a host referral if your past play is verifiable.

 

It's true that at the OP's playing level he really shouldn't have much trouble getting good comps, although that's relative.

But what I'd say to just about all players is: it's crazy to be 100% loyal. Sow a little play around BEFORE you have to.

 

I am getting Rfb and was getting top of the line rooms. Villas at Mirage and all of a sudden, they stopped the villa offers, tournaments offers stopped, they never gave me any freeplay whatssoever.

Im going to give CET and V/P each a day of play on my upcoming trip and see what it triggers.

Now I get free room offers and 1000 resort credit which is worthless since I have more express comos than I can spend.

I was thinking about CET or V/P. I am not a fan of Wynn. I make 4-6 trips a year and do not ask for much as far as comos relative to my play. I do hiwver exoect a top of the line room and my food comped as a forgone conclusion but now the offers are an insult relative to my play. Im thinking its the winning.

I also don't spend my express comps. My host looks after everything. Only time I use my express comps if going above and beyond, like have $2000 in 4 fight seats and will split it with my host, or have 4 suites for everyone, or 6 going to a show...but...I'm no where near your bankroll. Something's not right.

 

Why aren't you dealing directly with a host? Doesn't seem like you should be dependent on Mlife offers at that level of play and frequency of your trips.

You could even split it between CET and Cosmo if you want to try both, but you might check out that post, as I think they'd do a happy dance with you, and I KNOW they'd take great care of you with a generous upfront package IF they look at table players is the one caveat, that's the VP of slots, but worth asking, ESPECIALLY at your play level. At that level, even if you plays slots a small amount, you'll probably outspend others on their radar.

P.S. Chuck nailed it again. "Sow a little play around BEFORE you have to." I DO stay at the same hotels, but I always make sure to have my foot in the door at other properties I like, just in case things change.

 

Agree with Chuck - It's good to have 'insurance' when you need it - it doesn't take a whole lot of play to get your foot in the door at another property, plus I like to mix it up some trips by staying at a different property for a couple of nights.

It seems like a heart to heart conversation with your mlife host might be in order to clarify your status.

 

At that level of play you should be getting some major stuff I would think, regardless of the property. At CET I've gotten Butler Suites which you cant even book, they only give by invitation. Limos Galore to anywhere you wanna go. Any Shows for 2, 4, or maybe more ppl. Food Definitely comped. I've gotten all that at times (not all the time but often enough) and I'm on the 5th floor of spending when your on the 100th. Something is very wrong. At that level of play I dont even think I'd ever look at my offers, I would expect my host to know what I like and personally call me or when I feel like going to make a personal offer for me. I am just catching up on this thread and, frankly, I have no idea why you would divide your play between multiple properties? You have indicated that a top tier room and food comps are your top priority. So you should probably do your homework about which hotel has the best rooms you want. If you maintain the level of play you have indicated, you're not going to have a problem getting RFB at any of these casinos. So I say pick which one you're most interested in staying in for the next few trips and play hard there for three days. With that play, you shouldn't have a problem getting this trip comped on the back end as well as the future upfront comps you want. You're not going to get a villa at any of these properties, but you should be able to get a suite at any of them. Personally, I like the Wynn suites the best out of the properties you listed (assuming by CET you're considering CP)
