Thanks for the link......So since I made 7* in 2015 does that mean my travel was considered travel for 2015? So I would have had to use it this month?

That's correct. You have till the 31st to use the 7* benefits. Next year, it'll be January 31st vice March 31st. IMO, it's pretty crappy as the Aspiration 1 & 2 benefits last till June.

With respect to your 7* trip, since you reached 7* tier in 2015, you're entitled to two 7* trips; the first of which must be used prior to March 31, 2016. But it's too late to book that trip because they require bookings to be made 30 days in advance of travel. You're also entitled to a 7* trip to be used during 2016 calendar year, up through January 31, 2017. Don't forget also that you have a Diamond 80,000 aspiration trip ($750 air credit and folio credit) that will expire soon. But if you attain that level in 2016, you can use that along with you 7* trip.

In regards to the 30 day advance notice for travel, that's semi true. Depends on your host and how proactive you and him/her are. I've booked 1-2 weeks before I was heading to Vegas on aspiration II and 7* trips with no issues. I'm sure maybe even a week or a few days before. I usually get the reservations back the same day I put them in to my host. Just ensure you have all the details and information for the trip provided to the host to ensure everything goes smoothly.

You get a 7* trip for the year you made 7* as well as the year after?! Can anyone else confirm this? Do you have to make 7* by a certain month in the calendar year for this to apply? I made 7* in December 2015...

I can personally confirm this because i too made 7* in December of last year and tomorrow I'm heading to LV on my first of two 7* trips . I confirmed with my host when I booked this trip. I was also reminded that I still have a diamond II trip (from 2015 with $750 air credit) to use and a 7* trip that has to be booked by January of 2017. The cycle repeats itself if I teach 7* status for 2016.

My host said everything you do in the current calendar year is for the following year, so I only have one 7* trip to use between 2/1/16-1/31/17 based on reaching 7* in 2015. He said the trip that needs to be used by 3/31/16 would be from reaching 7* in 2014... Did you reach 7* in 2014? If not, there is a major disconnect in information between hosts...

It should work similarly to the Diamond Dinner reward. If you earn it in 2015, you have until 3/31/2016 to use it (next year 1/31). Then you have the one for 'being' Diamond in 2016 to use anytime during that year (or up until 1/31/17 due to date pull-back). If you earn re-earn Diamond in 2016, you have one again to use during 2017, but you don't get 2 in 2017 UNLESS you save the one from 2016 & use in January 2017. You never really 'get' two in a year. It's just that the first year you earn the status you aren't required to use it during that year - you have until the (formerly) 3/31 deadline the next year to use it. I earned Diamond at end of November one year. Since it was the last day of my trip I didn't have time to use the Diamond Dinner. So I had until 3/31 of the next year to use it plus the one for the next year after 3/31. (Does any of that make sense lol?) Exception of course being you would have both the Aspiration & the 7 Star.
