Just saw on the news that Frank Sinatra Jr passed away suddenly at age 72......

had the pleasure of meeting him at a performance at the Aladdin about 10 years ago
from a slot tourney i was invited to....

kind of felt bad for him during his show....
he did some really nice songs that the audience didn't much get into until
toward the end he did a set of his fathers songs and the crowd reacted.....tough shoes to follow i guess..

    RIP "Frankie"

    sad news :(

my mom said many many years ago that he might have had a different life if he wasn't named after his father.

I can't imagine the therapy this poor guy went thru during his life,
An international star for a father - who clearly, showed his son, was not his favorite child,
    A kidnapping circus event -
And then, trying the rest of your life to follow in the musical field, your father excelled,
    A privileged life,,,,,,,,but what a poor one ?

    Blacklabber said it ---
Imagine getting no audience response until you break out your father's hits ?
Night after night ?.........it must have been tough to handle --- even if it paid the bills !
I wonder how much Jr, made a year ?
    *
I wonder if all the crap - took a toll on ending his life at 72 ?
    *
I did see performance tapes of his shows/band = as good as any,
    *
I wonder if Barbara( Marx) will bother to attend the funeral ?
She stole everything else from Frank's estate,

I saw him many, many years ago when they still had lounge acts.

    Is Nancy Sr. still alive?
