    My Trip Report

Hi guys. Trying a live TR. if you are bored by golf and boozing and sports bets, then maybe you should just skip this one. I'll try to take pics as I go, but no promises!

First win of the trip: only 64 passengers on the SWA trip! Win. Leaving in 10 minutes! See you all in LAS in 4 hours!

Ok. Maybe once or twice a day will be my version on live! 36 holes of golf at one of the most beautiful courses you will ever see! And yes, the birdie on the first was the runaway highlight for me. Pace of play was awesome. 4:40 for first round, the 3:55 for second!

After golf we checked into the Eureka hotel for one night. Seems like a nice place, albeit an odd setup with the casino across a parking lot from the hotel rooms. Room was clean, bed was comfy, and coffee (k-cups!) in the room.

Gambling: great games at the Eureka! Full pay DDB (and I broke about even somehow) a $3 craps table with 10x odds that I managed to lose at, then whilst finishing my last beverage, I sat down to plink away at this![IMG]

Wound up almost a grand on goofy penny slots!

Nice catch on the slots. Hit'em straight and long.

The $64 flights we bought 2 weeks out last month out of MDW were pretty stuffed. But SWA won't gouge prices at MDW like they do in other markets. It's doubtful I'll ever fly SWA from STL ever again.

Great start Ivan! I've always wanted to peek in the Eureka, but never get around to it.

First bad break of trip. Couldn't get out for a replay until3pm at Mesquite. So after another beating this morning we drove to Henderson to play Legacy

After golf and In-n-Out burgers, we checked into Paris. No wait, didn't bother with the sandwich because I hope to spend as little time as possible in the room. Got beat up pretty good at craps and shitty pay table DDB. Tomorrow golf at Boulder Creek and Ellis Island or maybe GVR. No food pics because, well, we've all seen a burger. So far only down about 4 bills, so it isn't horrible.

Sorry about getting beat up Ivan... Hope your luck turns around. BTW, how was Legacy? Also, have fun at Boulder Creek and hit em' long and straight!

Legacy was ok. Valley golf. Greens were very nice. Pretty good value, but pretty average place. Thanks!

Keep plugging away Ivan, a handpay is coming. Wolf Creek looked like it was in good shape, Im headed out in a few weeks for Shadow Creek and Bears.

Hope the lipouts are minimal and the handpays plentiful.

Boulder Creek was a nice track. Good shape, and plenty difficult. On the way back from golf course, we were going to get BBQ at Ellis Island. 7 people, 90 minute wait. Cafe, 60 minute wait. So we all just decided to eat whatever. So after a while we just headed back. Man, if I hadn't taken Michigan and holy cross, it would have been another clean sweep for the house. Ah well, today is a new day!

No golf today, so our plan is to stay around Paris or PH until after the IU game and then head downtown.

Who knows? Maybe I'll actually eat something vaguely healthy today.

When I first read Eureka Casino I thought at the one in Vegas. Was suprised they had craps and a hotel.
