    My Trip Report

Well the first night is done so I thought I would recap for everyone since I enjoy reading these so much leading up to my trips. Left out of Houston last night on the 7:40 pm out of Bush Intercontinental on United which turned in the 8:30 flight after delays. Since it was my wife's birthday I upgraded her and I to first class and enjoyed a great drink filled flight to the promise land.

A little back ground on the group: I am a 29 yr old guy that has been coming to Vegas 2-3 times a year since I turned 21. Love it will never turn down a trip. Was asked by some Vegas Virgins if the wife and I wanted to come over my teacher wife's spring break.... So hell yeah we booked! Age range 28-29 married and like to drink.

Ok so we land in law Vegas the 2 newbies checked bags and united took no kidding 45 minutes to unload bags!! Wasting valuable time but whatever we are here. Got them checked in at harrahs on my comp then headed to the mirage where wifey and I are staying. Got a nice room comfy bed pool view. Once we were settled in the other couple wanted to gamble but wanted to do it cheap ( on a Saturday on the strip ) so we did a lot of walking and looking for tables. Found a good $10 table at harrahs with 2 guys playing. Just started a new shoe so we sat down and bought in..... Well after 3 hands and the 2 guys hitting with 14 dealer showing 6 and not hitting 13 while the dealer shows 10 I said this is stupid and cashed out.... Headed to the Linque. Found an completely open $10 Bj table and had a nice run for the entire table. Walked away a combined $600 up.

Now the fun was starting.... Walked over to and caught the tram from Bellagio went into NYNY my buddy decided this was a good time to play his first craps session. $10 table ready to go. I've been playing craps for 8 years now and it's my game of choice so he wanted to learn. Well after watching a couple throws I told him I was going to play the dark side but he could do whatever he wanted.... Bad choice by me.... This lady got the dice established a 10 then 4 don't come then 8 don't come then proceeded to hit each of my numbers to take my entire buy in minus $5..... While my buddy is taking it all in. Well with $5 left j just throw it on the hard 8. Well it hits... Cool got some money back press and let it ride... Hard 8 again. Wow 2 rolls and back even.... Hell let it ride 2 throws later hard 8 again. Damn this is awesome. She threw 5 hard 8s in about 12 throws.... Banking now since I was pressing. Just stayed out of the game and killed the hard ways.

Now with spring forward it was 4:30 am so we headed back to the mirage and got on a slow pai gow table lost a little took what I had left put it on black and missed to end the night. After a long day it was good to hit the pillow at 6:30 am. About to get up and head out for the day. Maybe mirage buffet on myvegas? Some strip walking and a lot of drinking. Going to start going live with pics today so stay tuned..... I am a huge degenerate lol

Always love your reports! Nice craps action. Killing the hardways is always fun. Hopefully it keeps up!

I feel your pain on United. I was online checking my reservation for this week to make sure my known traveler number was applied to it and saw the two night flights from IAH were delayed. Sucks.

Looking forward to more of your report and some crabs and Mirage info. I'll be staying there on the second leg of my trip and it's been a couple years since I've stayed there

Mirage craps last night was all $25. Never seen it that way. Sitting at Cravings right now having champagne brunch. Food is good and mimosas are great. Going to be a good day. I'll take some pics of the craps and Bj conditions. Did I mention I really like mirage? They have done a hell of a job making it over.

All quarter tables eh? And march madness isn't even in full effect! So I'm guessing they'll all be quarter and up this weekend.

    I check in next Sunday

    Good luck today!

When did dealer at casino royal become suck dicks? Just teaching a newbie to play he throws 3 off the table with bounces and then gets a no roll on a short throw next roll... Which was a winner and cleared the table

Quite awhile now. It's become a favorite Vegas game of mine now to troll them.

Sorry your buddy had a bad experience.

Well yesterday was up and down for everyone in our group. Had some great craps sessions all up and down the strip but ended on a terrible mirage run before bed. That is starting to be a theme of this trip.

We are at burger bar in Mandalay Bay which if you haven't tried is amazing. A lot of walking and site seeing but a good day all and all. Today will be a little Caesars action and Terry Fator tonight. Anyone seen him? Worth it?
