Chumlee arrested

Pawn Stars resident oddball busted for meth and illegal gun last night. Apparently cops were investigating sex assault and found stuff in his house.

 

The whole bunch of them are a collection of oafs. Years ago we walked through the shop and found it to be nothing more than a cheap-ass souvenir stand.

 

They got very wealthy.

 

I hope they throw the book at that lowlife doofuss.

 

Chum is reported to earn $25k an episode, up to 60 episodes a year.

 

I'm shocked...NOT. Stopped watching that show a couple years ago as it became more irritating and less entertaining for me.

 

when he's asked a question he's not sure about he'll probably ask if he can bring in an expert.

 

IMO it is a glorified tourist trap...and a poor one at that.

 

... and good for him! Not sure why the boo-birds gotta hate on this guy and the other cast members. I'm happy for anyone who concocts a way to earn money without taking it from others. Now obviously he's got a major issue with the guns and drugs for sure and the legal system will deal with that. I'm told by people who've associated with him in the past he's not very bright.

I saw Rick, Cory and Chum at the Reno airport like at 6 a.m. on a Sunday morning heading back to Vegas. They looked like they'd been up all night on a bender and they were deluged with people wanting pictures with them, etc. I watched them and they were a accommodative and nice as anyone could possibly be and you could tell they just want to sit in peace and quiet.

 

Why do I have a feeling the investigation is related to things that happened while he was DJing at the Palms?

 

Because many people hate successful people.

 

When I saw the name chumlee.... All I could think of was Tennessee tuxedo.

 

If he is using the meth and not selling it, he has to be in the running for "fattest meth addict ever"...

As much as I love Pawn Stars Chumlee - I feel like his use of the name disgraces the greatness that is Tennessee Tuxedo.

Well said. Let the legal system run its course. Hating someone for having a successful "reality" show and not offering people full retail value at a pawn shop? That's just silly.

 

I'm self employed and couldn't agree with you more. Too much envy out there.

This. Chum is not the first celeb and won't be the last to mess up a good thing. He's reportedly making over $1mil a year plus whatever he earns on the side for appearances and DJ'ing and he screws the pooch. Makes me shake my head in bewilderment.

 

The guy did get his nickname from that cartoon character so no coincidence.
