    Greetings and thanks in advance.

I'd like to fly out from SC to do some research on the area to find a place to live. I want to stay a month and really get a feel for certain areas in order to make an informed decision. I'm seeking advice as where to look online, or from your personal experience, as to where to find a place to rent for a month. Being that I'll be alone, theres no need for the Taj, and at the same time, I don't wanna have 'COPS' being filmed right outside my door. Budget could be a grand or so, but am willing to go higher if need be.

Hopefully I'm being clear in my request, thanks again!

Do you want to be near the strip or in the suburbs like Summerlin or Henderson?

I'll end up living in the suburbs. I really don't care where I rent.

Is SC Southern California or South Carolina? Just curious because here in Portland , OR $1000 gets you a lot closer to 'cops' than the Taj....

Airbnb is probably a good option for a short term rental. Just don't rent in North Las Vegas and you should be relatively safe.

SC = South Carolina. Much appreciated.

I would try VRBO.COM Find a property you think might work and call the owner and see if he/she would make a deal for a month and only one person.

https://www.vrbo.com/230268ha This looks like a good one and has good reviews. It's $48 a night but you need to get it down to about $35 I think that's doable.

Edit: That one might not work, looks like there is a six month min. but it doesn't hurt to ask.

You know something, it means so much to me that others would take time out of their lives to help a stranger. My heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to you all.
