Just seen on Trooper's Poker Vlog this promo is finishing early. Typical, I'm going next week. Originally it was planned to offer it until the end of March. They must be losing too much money on it.

This sucks! Thanks for the heads up! I'm going in a couple of weeks and was hoping to grab at least one from it. Oh well, may do BofB or grab something from Groupon since I have credits there.

A bunch of folks are pissed...including me. Planned on getting my 50 t.c.'s ...then using wife's card to get her 50 t.c.'s....then off to Spice market or Le Village or Carnival World or...you get the picture. March madness will still be a great time though. Just less eating!

Sad - we really used the heck out of it the last 2 trips.
Wish they would just keep it going!

Honestly, im not even sure Le Village was worth it for free last week, nevermind $32.

So that means they were not making money on the promo--too bad, too many people came in, played 50 TCs, lost $5, and did nothing else. It was not a valuable promo but it was nice to see CET was doing something like this. If it didn't work you won't see it again.

Are there any worthwhile buffets at the CET properties?

Yes unhappy about it also as was planning on using a buffet one night
I don't see why they just don't raise it to 100 points as I think 50 is too easy

Bacchanal at Caesars is hands down the best buffet( deservedly rated best buffet in vegas)
(Downsides are that it s pretty pricey, 52$ for dinner and that if your not diamond or higher you can get a very long waitingline(yeah even for that price they stand in line) anyways the buffetvoucher are valid till this friday bacchanal wasnt included anyway. Paris is ok and ph as well, heard that flavours at harrahs( from the trooper) is also pretty decent....as i dont use buffets so much anymore it is ok and only use a few free buffets from myvegas if they are still available(belaggio and mirage are pretty good and mgm which got bad reviews wasnt bad at all last time i was there)

Really? Maybe I went on a bad day as I absolutely hated Harrah's buffet. Grand Lux cafe (while not a buffet) at the Venetian was cheaper and wayyyy better. I guess I'm more of a la carte guy as I feel like Buffets can be hit or miss at the lower tier places. I have to check out ceasars now though! Thanks for the reply.

Can someone that is in Vegas now confirm if the promotion has indeed ended early? I believe those that posted, just looking for confirmation now that March 4th has past. Thank you in advance for the help!

Sharing a update that I read on TA:

"I called a Total Rewards desk and was told that this promotion is still going on and ends on 3/31/16. You can earn the points at one property or you can combine your points that day that were earned at more than one of the CET properties.

She did say that the rules have changed for redemption and that you needed to go to the Total Rewards desk to redeem."

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if many people just made the 50 TC threshold. But on slots, they would still make money on the deal even if they just made the minimum. No way the actual buffet cost to the casino is ~$25 (rough expected loss on slots).

It is definitely over. Only select Las Vegas locals who received an email about it are able to get it. I tried to get one yesterday but even the manager said there was nothing they can do.

Thanks. I had asked someone to check for sure later today but now there's no need. What a shame.
