So, the people my husband works with know he's the crazy cat lady. He'll tell you I'm the crazy cat lady but, that's not true. I'm an enabler to a crazy cat lady. One of the ladies ended up with a pregnant stray and now has a fresh batch of kittens. Somebody must have told her to go over to my husband with pictures. He comes home from work asking me what I think of all grey cats. They're fine. Then he's asking me about munchkin cats. I think it's irresponsible breeding and there's no way that can be good for the animal. Then he asks for the name of our vet and if I have a business card laying around. Then it progresses to how hard it is to find homes for kittens, good homes especially and not some sicko that feeds kittens to pythons etc. Now she's saving the cutest one for us. We all know how this story ends.

So, any ideas on semi Vegas related names for a male kitty? I prefer people names. Jack and Max are already taken by our current cats.

I was thinking Big Red and Midnight (I'm a craps player) but the kittens are all grey.

Name one Steve and another one Wynn

    Name another one Rio

    And name another one Cosmo.

Electro...why are you signing me up for multiple kittens? What the hell man? It's one kitten. Why are you stressing me out? Don't even put that out into the universe dude!

I was thinking a Rat Pack name, but, knowing my husband...he would turn that into an excuse to get more kittens. You can't have Frank without Dean, Sammy, Joey and Peter.

What a cute story. "What do you think of all grey cats" LOL

I always tell people to get 2, then they have a sibling playmate their own age.. Siegfried & Roy ? Steve & Edie (if you get a girl sibling - you know you're going to get at least 2)

I have brothers Frank and Dino, morphed into Frankie & Gino. Frankie had blue eyes as a kitten.

Well, we already have Max and Jack. So the new dude will have kitty company. If I was at zero kitties or one kitty, I would consider getting a pair of brothers. But...um...no...

So far, I've got Ceasar, Evel, Wayne, Nick, and Carlos. I do like Tito.

Why name them if they can't respond? It is labor intensive but you can also teach them to roll-over and sit up. Just don't get too serious in training. Good luck

My sister claims hers does also. A long time ago my Wife and I had two cats. Their names were Kunta and Kinte (From the book and movie Roots).

We would call them and they would look at us as if we were stupid.

Of course cats respond to their names. We have entire conversations with our cats. I'm not sure what we're saying to each other, but, we're conversing. It's not the same kind of relationship you have with a dog, but, it's a relationship all the same. Some better than others. Cats don't bother to fake it if they're not into you. Dogs will be kind to you out of pity even if they think you're a twat. And some of them will think you're a twat.

I go for TITO too -- of course being from Texas we always have Titos in the house -- so it is a win both ways. Of course there is always Elvis.

Penn.. since most cats like to vanish at the drop of the hat.

And, mine just kind of looks at me when I call her name, then gets the "You talking to me?" look, and passes back out.
