What is everyone's favorite place for bartop VP $.25 level? More in it for the drinks rather than the VP if I am sitting at the bar. Looking for a couple bars to try out that serve real cocktails as comps not just beer/well drinks.

    Cosmo. Great cocktails there.

I love the bar by the sportsbook in Bellagio. It's even better when Lance is bartending! He makes a great margarita, but every cocktail he's created for me has been fantastic.

Any basic cocktail is available while playing bar top VP, at least in my experience. You know, martinis, white Russians, long islands, those types of drinks.

Lots of people like to seek out the more upscale bars with a specific cocktail menu, custom creations with more of a "mixology" aspect.

Never played there, but I see one or two of the Cosmo bars as a commonly mentioned example of this.

The fancier bars offer Manhattans, negronis, Moscow mules, old fashioned, and so on

    Bartop VP Drinks

I asked this for the strip hotels also... What are everyone's favorite bars to play VP at for the cocktails? Looking for a bar with good drinks, not as much worried about the pay tables. I'd rather get comped Long Islands, Martinis, or specialty cocktails at a 95% game then friggin well drinks at 99%. Any ideas?

My favourite was the now closed Book and Stage at Cosmo. If you like craft beer my new favourite is TAG Bar at the Linq. The bartenders are awesome and knowledgeable.

They will mostly make you what you ask for. Sometimes the bars are restricted on "top shelf" liquors. But a good bartender will make sure you are happy.

My sister likes to go to Vegas to play "stump the bartender". She says the casino bar of her choice for good drinks is Vesper at Cosmo, but I don't know about the VP there.

Neither of those are downtown. I like to play VP downtown at Main Street, but I'm not sure if they will fit your bill for specialty cocktails. I've had martini's, lemon drop, margarita, daquiri, vodka collins, um.. probably others. I think they mostly serve the Triple 7's beer though. It's pretty good too. ;)

Golden Gate!! if you're not worried about pay tables, this is the place. All the bartenders are very friendly, you can get almost anything. I prefer single malt, thought my girl Valeria was taking care of me by serving me Glenlivet, but any of them will do it.

Sorry, DTG will make a nice cocktail downtown. That's all I've found. The rest have little sippy cups
DTG uses a proper cocktail glass.

Aria. I love being reminded that I'm only allowed one drink each half hour and that I have to play max credits the whole time.

Sarcasm aside, I like Ignite lounge in Monte Carlo as well as Harrah's sports book.

If you are considering downtown I would suggest Main Street Station. 9/6 JOB and they will poor decent liquor. Pretty tough to beat.

Vesper is off the gaming floor and has no VP, iirc.

For the strip overall, I think the specialty drinks at Cosmo are tough to beat. And the games aren't too bad if you can find a progressive bartop. Bond and the Sportsbook bar have the voucher system though.

LOL The bartender that served me last week only asked me to max bet one time. It was dollars though. He knew I was hitting and running him. I played for about 10 minutes min/max betting dollars for my $13 retail craft beer.

Word on the street is that DTG has bad pay tables. Can someone confirm?
