I always allocate around $100-$200 to do a long shot bet that could pay big when i visit Vegas. This time I have chosen to hit up a slot machine. I'm not much a slot player so I'd like opinions on what slot to try.

I'd obviously play max bet on the machine. I'm assuming a machine with $3 max bet ($1 dollar machine) to $10 max bet.($5 dollar 2 "coin" machine)
If I get a hit that doubles my money or more, I'll just cash out.

I played Top Dollar for the first time yesterday. $2 a spin. Put in $100. Finally hit the bonus when I got down to about $50. And hit this: [IMG]

Try these 2x3x4x machines outside the Noodle restaurant. They always hit for me at the .25 cent level.

I am a big Top Dollar fan but also find Wheel of Fortune fun too for these types of bets.
Actually, find a machine at the lower denomination that you enjoy playing then play that machine at the larger amount.
If doing $200, why not break it down to 4 $50 bets on the roulette table?

The old school 9 liners, butterfly 7s and such just outside the HL room have been good to me and just as you get into the HL slot area there is an old Leprechaun themed $1 minimum denom game that has paid me every trip.

Depends on whether you are looking to have fun. The newer interactive games like the Walking Dead, Willy Wonka and especially Michael Jackson are pretty fun especially when you hit a bonus. They can last for quite some time.

This was at mandalay last year. The Double gold in the HL room. I put 100 bucks in and this was the only hit.

Got back from my trip. I picked the $5 wheel of fortune machine right outside the HL area. Played max credits (2). On the second spin, I got to spin the wheel. Ended up $400! Cashed out immediately after!

    Mission accomplished!
