Shots and squats. It'll be annoying at first. Then you won't be able to get it out of your head.

Look up DJ Scene Podcast on iTunes. He is a DJ based in Vegas. He has hundreds of mixes available and they're all free to download. Great to listen to while in the car, working out, etc...

I have a playlist on my Ipod called my Vegas Playlist. Listen to it every trip, about 150 songs. Mostly upbeat stuff to get me excited and ready to have fun.

What is on your Vegas Music Playlist?

I'm sure most have songs by The Rat Pack, but what else do listen to during your trip or songs that just remind you of Vegas?

I have a few that are mandatory to listen to during the flights:

Show Biz Kids - Steely Dan
    Babylon Sisters - Steely Dan
    Brick House - Commodores
Peel Me A Grape - Diana Krall (Vegas is the only city where I take limos and stay in suites. It's the perfect song for that).
Help Yourself - Tom Jones (reminds me of that rat pack era for some reason)
Sharp Dressed Man - ZZ Top
Diamonds are Forever - Shirley Bassey (Anything James Bond really. I remember some gambling scenes from when I was a kid and I thought they were so cool. I guess I got hooked then)
Hell - Squirrel Nut Zappers (used on the Hell's Bell's slot machine. It was cheaper to buy the song on iTunes than try to get a bonus on the machine).

I'm interested to see what people who aren't ancient like me think is Vegas style music.

We definitely have different taste in music but I always listen to "All I do is win" by DJ Khaled. I'm more into hip hop and rap so NWA, Ludacris, Jay-Z, Fat Joe, etc. Also, anything by PCD reminds me of Caesars for obvious reasons.

Regardless of your musical taste you have to include Frank's "Luck Be A Lady Tonight" and of course Elvis' "Viva Las Vegas".

I like AC/DC "Sin City" and Gram Parson's "Ooh Las Vegas".

That Gram Parson track is a pretty rare recommendation so I would counter with the Cowboy Junkies version of "Ooh Las Vegas". It's really great. One trip I fell asleep to it every night, I'd look out at the casino lights as long as I could keep my eyes open.

MGMT "Time to Pretend" (opening of "21")

    Prince "Let's Go Crazy"

    Wilco "Casino Queen"

    Gomez "Las Vegas Dealer"

BT "Never Gonna Come Back Down"

Kenny Rogers "The Gambler"...also a great cover by Mike Doughty

And LOTS of Frank, Dean, Sammy, and Bennett

Whenever these two songs come on the radio, I think of 4am drinking at Claude's Bar in the Nugget.

I think this and 'Love Somebody' has been on the looping playlist since their release :D

Bring back great memories of many drunken nights.

George Thorogood- One bourbon, one scotch, one beer.

Although John Lee Hooker's version is pretty bad ass too.
