Which table game would be the worst for a player to play? Obviously if you're betting on one of the 36 #s roulette would be right up there, but as far as Carny games -

From online simulators I would say that Mississippi stud has the biggest swing in the houses favor. Any experience one way or the other with other table games?

Caribbean Stud poker; Wizard of Odds says the house advantage is 5.22%. I've played this game a couple of times and lost my shirt each session. A lot of the casinos have taken this game off of the casino floor; I think due to some licensing rights.

I'd have to say that wheel where you can bet straight up on the money displays and then the two wild card slots. The same thing that was done in "Last Vegas".

I think I saw on a couple of documentaries that the big wheel was the highest casino advantage game by a fairly large margin.

    According to wikipedia:

The house advantage or edge (the proportion of the stakes that the casino expects to win on average) of this game is one of the highest of most casino games. In the United States it ranges from 11.1% on the $1-bill bet to more than 24% on the joker or logo (when it pays at 40 to 1). In Australia the house edge is 7.69% on all bets such that the payouts are: 47:1, 23:1, 11:1, 5:1, 3:1 and 1:1 on a 52 segment wheel.

Ha, this made me think of Vegas Vacation (which I assume you're referencing.)

I always get a kick out of that scene, because the first game he goes to is War, and I'm always like "that's actually a REAL casino game now!" (which I've never played)

With regards to Caribbean stud, it may not have the worst odds, but there is another feature that differentiates it from other poker-based table games....the need for the dealer to qualify. You can get a royal flush, but if the dealer doesn't get at least ace king, you aren't getting paid.

I never played it in a casino but I remember trying it online years ago, and quickly deciding that there was just no way I could ever play it for real money.

I actually played War my first Vegas trip when I was a senior in college. I was scared to play anything else besides slots but I figured "how hard can this be?" Got my wallet cleaned in about ten minutes and my GF at the time was laughing about how I shoulda played blackjack. I think we broke up shortly after that trip. I'm still in love with Vegas though [emoji6].

If you mean in terms of house edge it's the Big 6 wheel and Sic Bo though it's hard to find that game these days. In terms of variance, Mississippi Stud is way up there. I thought I wanted to play it so I gave it a go on a simulator. Ran through my bankroll several times before having a winning session. High Card Flush seems swingy too but fun.

NYNY used to have Sic Bo and it was s fun diversion from the other games for a bit. We ended up playing with some dudes who were betting blacks and made up some drinking game where we would take shots if certain things did or didn't happen.

I think I saw that V/P has it now too.

As for Casino War my girlfriend used to like that. For our first couple trips I used it as an ATM. I'd take $20-50 and go play a hand or two and use the winnings for dinner or whatever. Once at MGM we sat down and won $400 betting $25 a hand. Last time I ever played it lol

Funny that you mention nyny, that's exactly where I played it. Me and a friend were slow rolling it and getting tanked. High house advantage but it was slow and kind of fun.

I can't stand those table games with dealer qualifier hands. I can get over the house edge, even the 40% edge in Keno, if it means entertainment and a small chance to win it big. But nothing is more frustrating than beating the dealer in a qualifying game and just 'pushing' your main bet.

If V/P really does have it I'm gonna enjoy some low rolling fun there for sure.

We had s great dealer at NYNY and that made it even better

The table game i like the least is black jack.

Boring as hell and people are so dour and serious.

Cant stand that. Thats why i never play. i Go the vegas to loosen up and have fun. That seems to rub some people the wrong way at the bj tables for some reason

Fits right in at the craps table thoug.

Big 6 is the very worst, keno if you call that a table game is right up there. 00 roulette is the worst table game people actually play big money on.
