Which television series do you love so much that you have the entire (or almost entire) boxed set? Whether the show or shows are old, new, cable, regular tv? Reason I ask is I ordered and received the small "boxed" set of a short-lived HILARIOUS sitcom, Get A Life with Chris Elliott. Cannot wait to veg out on the couch and watch this set.

Below is my list. Let's see yours!

    Columbo (entire)
    Seinfeld (entire)
    Simpsons (seasons 1-3)
    Martin (seasons 1-3)
Love Boat (seasons 1-2, they won't release anymore)
    Get A Life (entire)

With the Netflix streaming option, we sure do buy a lot fewer DVDs these days.

I think my husband has most of the Seinfeld series, but it might just be the first 3-4 seasons.

I have Deadwood and Carnivale and watch them way too often.

I also have Arrested Development and Six Feet Under, but didn't really watch them after the first time through.

We almost bought the box set of All In the Family last year, but when we went back to get it at Costco, they were all gone.

We live in the boonies with limited data, so no streaming for us (every so often, if we have "extra" data at the end of the month, we'll stream an Amazon Prime movie)

I haven't bought any DVD sets in a while (Harry Potter the last, and that's movies) I have Sex & the City (I bought these because it was cheaper than keeping HBO when this was the only thing we watched on it), News Radio, some of Northern Exposure (which reminds me I want more...) Love Boat. Buffy the Vampire Slayer & maybe the first 2 seasons of Angel? I'll have to check what else we have at home - I know we must have more.....

I suppose I'm the oddball, but no TV series. As gifts I received Patton, Top Gun and the 4 dvd set of Godfather movies. That's it for dvds.

I have the complete series of Battlestar Galactica (2004 reboot), Fringe, Monk, Vampire Diaries (don't judge me), Warehouse 13, and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. I don't buy as many TV series box sets anymore, since it's so much cheaper to just stream everything.

lol, got that one too. Film (and the last couple decades of quality TV) have been a hobby of mine for a long time, so my list is long. Off the top of my head, I know I have these TV series sets: Arrested Development, Alias, Cheers, Seinfeld, Simpsons, South Park, Futurama, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, West Wing, X-Files, Millennium, Carnivale, Deadwood, Dexter, Luck, Boardwalk Empire, Undeclared, Freaks and Geeks, Mad Men, and more. Can't remember them all.

Wow, did not know Get a Life had a boxed set! Always liked Chris Elliot

    UKFanatic/Joe Strummer:

Get A Life was so ridiculous and stupid. And Hilarious! The show never went past the second season, heck, barely made an entire second season. I never knew why. Chris Elliot is a nutball in that show and I liked he used his real Dad as his Dad (Bob Elliott) on the show. Bob was hilarious as well back in the days of "Bob and Ray".

According to some stories, GAL episodes were coveted and hard to come by. Heck, I bought my set for $45.00, pricey for 1 1/2 half seasons' worth.

We own the entire series of Lost and The Sopranos. I have the first season of Heroes (imo, the only season worth a darn). My husband has a bunch of DVD's with "Greatest Hits" episodes of The Andy Griffith Show, which he just loves.

I cannot watch Chris Elliott - I hated most of the episodes of How I Met Your Mother he was in, and can barely watch him in Schitt's Creek (I LOVE that show, adore Catherine O'Hara!!!) His humor is not mine.....

Fox aired a lot of junk in the early nineties. They had to fill the hours, so shows like GAL and others stuck around a lot longer than they would these days

None. I used to collect stuff, then I realized I never watch stuff twice- too much other and new stuff out there! Same with buying CDs; with all the streaming options, why bother? I WAS tempted with The Sopranos, but went through the series via Netflix instead. Probably won't watch it a third time, My sister did get The Persuaders but that's because it is not readily available anywhere- or wasn't when she got it. Waaay back in the day when they had those LP sized DVDs I collected Rocky movies- I think I got to 4 or 5 before that technology went by the wayside.
