I will be in Vegas next week with 3 friends. We are just wondering what is the best buffet for $15. We will have a car, but since we aren't familiar with the area, we don't want to go to far. We are staying at Harrah's.

I hope you rented a Delorean. Go 88mph and you can go back to 1985. Buffets (even breakfast) on the strip are expensive now. You would have to either go downtown or off strip to find cheaper buffets. Red Rock for lunch is great Gold Coast does a decent job especially for breakfast. It's just a pain when you are at Harrah's to go all over the place. Good Luck.

ACG and LVA coupons can bring decent buffets down to around $15, but we're not talking high end places.....

Take the free shuttle from Harrah's to the Rio. Walk across the street to Gold Coast. Their buffet is pretty good but smaller than strip buffets (and a lot cheaper). You can also take the shuttle from Gold Coast to Orleans. Their buffet is much larger and nicer. I believe those are both in your price range. Strip buffets are ridiculously expensive. There is a Denny's on the strip as well as an Outback steakhouse for more affordable meals. The Peppermill is notorious for huge portions that 2 people can split. Also, food courts in the Linq, Harrah's? and Planet Hollywood give you less expensive options. I would suggest you buy the LVA online membership and have the book sent to your hotel or pick it up at their office. It will save you a lot of $. http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/whyjoin-mrbdetails.cfm We did the Palms sunday brunch for $30/2 last year using the 50% off coupon. It was amazing!

With Lva Coupon book ( MRB) you can enjoy the
1-"Cravings" buffet at the Mirage, buy 1 get 1 free ($30.00 for a buffet). It is a very good buffet with everything to you could want
2- Palms "Bistro" buffet with 50% off coupon Makes dinner for 4 around $42.00 ( seafood dinner around $50.00 for 4). Very good buffet and very good brunch.
3- Rio "Carnival World" buffet runs $32.00 2-4-1 makes it $16.00 per ( hopefully within your range) good buffet although I understand some changes have taken place there recently,
4- Palace Station " Feast" buffet is $15.00 with no coupon. 2-4-1 makes it $7.50 per
5-Harrahs "Flavors" buffet ( and also the hotel that you are staying at) has a 25% off coupon? My suggestion would be to use it at a late lunch ($21.00-$5.50) and then catch the dinner at 4:30!

The LVA MRB costs $40.00. The Palms 50% off coupon pays for the book by itself ( if used properly)!

On The Strip there are a couple of buffets that are $25, but most of them are in the $30-35 price range now (and a few are even higher).

You mentioned a car but not wanting to go too far: you can go to any of the casinos on Boulder Highway. Thats east of The Strip and buffet prices at the casinos are usually around $13-15 for dinner, with some being a little lower.

You are staying at Harrah's: when you check in they should give you some coupons that you can use, as part of the room key/property map package. There should be a coupon for the buffet in there that will either give a percentage off or be a 2-for-1 coupon. I've eaten at Harrah's a few times and its actually a pretty good buffet with a nice variety of foods to choose from.

No buffet that costs $15 is worth eating at. It isn't worth feeding to pigs. Add $10 to get to a decent price point, then head down to Studio B at M Resort.

Excalibur Saturday nights is 23.99 I think and it was VERY good. The buffet renovation was a success IMO

Head a mile west to either Gold Coast or the Palms. Both weekday dinner buffets can be had for about $15 with a players card.

If you each earn 50 tier credits at a Caesers property you can go for free to PH, Rio, Harrahs, Flamingo, or Paris.

I was told Rio or PH are the best of those five

Now I would'nt say this about buffets under $15.00. As they will do the job.

I do agree this is a good buffet, and this buffet does offer free beer/win/coffee included in the buffet price. So that is another little savings unless you drink water.

Wow $15 dollars. I think you would be dining at the 'Pump and Dump' on boulder hwy at that price. They advertise extra clean stalls and largest bathrooms in Nevada.

Seriously though for $15 dollars skip any idea of buffet unless you want to go way off strip. The closest buffet to that price on the strip will be with 2 for 1 coupon for weekday breakfast / lunch at Luxor, ExCal, Harrahs, or Flamingo.
You can either search thru the Vegas travel books when you arrive, try for a MyVegas comp, or try to grab a coupon from the hotel staff who occassionally hand them out.

I would recommend you invest your $15 bucks on a nice meal at the PepperMill just north of the Wynn. Large portions, good food, and great atmosphere. Second choice would be DuPars downtown. Way better then a cheap buffet IMHO.

I'm not sure when you're going but if you have time you can play myVegas slots on Facebook and get free buffets.

Downtown. We like the MSS champagne brunch on sat and sun. for $12.95. Of course we either get it comped or use LVA for BOGO
