To: Slot Players Visiting Las Vegas

I have enjoyed reading this message board for a while and felt it was time to introduce myself. My name is Kevin Sweet and I am the Vice President of Slot Operations & Marketing at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Over the past 12 months, new ownership and new management have made incredible changes to our casino floor and I’d like to welcome you all to come visit and give us a try.

We’ve been known for our incredible rooms with balconies and sweeping views of The Strip and our world class F&B portfolio since we opened, and that will continue to improve in 2016. We opened CliQue Bar & Lounge just before NYE, a new intimate venue with some delicious craft cocktails. Beauty & Essex, ZUMA, Eggslut and Starbucks are new additions coming to the property and more exciting additions are yet to be revealed.

And with our renewed focus on the casino, that is what I’m most excited to share with you all. We’ve recently debuted our new High Limit Slot Lounge, a beautiful new Race & Sports Book powered by CG, changed the carpet, chairs, music and lighting of the casino in order to feel more inviting and exciting to our casino guests.

Some of you may have been here when we first opened and not returned, and even more of you have probably never been here at all. For the next few months I’d like to personally invite you to try The Cosmopolitan, whether for the first time or after a few years of inactivity. And to put any hesitations at ease, I’m willing to match your current, valid, Las Vegas strip casino offer as best I can, based on availability and for a limited time only.

I am confident that once you stay & play here, and experience the incredible service our staff provides coupled with the supreme reinvestment of our Identity Membership & Rewards Program – The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will become your favorite slot destination.

Please just forward me your existing marketing offer and I will get you in touch with a casino host that will take care of the rest.

And if you have any other questions, feel free to contact me directly and I will respond as soon as I can – [email protected] .

We look forward to seeing you on the floor in the coming months!

    -Kevin Sweet

Man wish I had this note last month - I would have rather spent all our time there instead of half at Aria.

Kevin you have a great crew everywhere we played at the Cosmo - the gentleman in the HL room was really nice, loved loved the bartenders at the chandelier bar & we had a blast at BJ even though I couldn't seem to win a hand.

Welcome to the board Kevin very cool to see a casino that is looking for players and takes their opinion as a value.

I haven't stayed at cosmo in prob 2 1/2 years but have done some drop in play while in town. I look forward to hopefully taking you up on your offer in the next several months.

I am really enjoying the new changes when I was there over new years. New hl slot room is great.
The email the day after stopping in with some play and offering some fp to come back within the next few days is pure genius. I know it gets me to swing in on another visit for sure of staying elsewhere.

    Thanks for the note.

Can you look into allowing VMBers with bracelet to videotape some slot bonuses without hassle.

    Thanks in advance.

Would you be able to match promo chips for table games also from another property? Pleepleus got me set up with his host and she is awesome.

I'm sure I will meet you soon if I haven't already met you before while being with plee.

Thanks Kevin! Sent you an email, as I have veered off the path of Cosmo/Mlife due to the lack of caring they seemed to have for their guests (except the front desk clerks, those guys are great!!) and headed towards CET. Would love to come back

    HI Kevin,
Thanks for your note and stopping by our community. I did want to express an opinion that some of the regular board members who are higher tier players in your competitors slot club, and what we think of cosmopolitan. I would also ask what you plan to do to distinguish yourself as destination for gaming enthusiasts. While I love your rooms, innovated dining, and resort design, I hate the slot club program structure, issues with non gaming club patrons overflowing on the casino floor at certain times, and lack of cocktail service on the casino floor / drink comping at bar tops.

I have been a long time player of CET properties and Total Rewards players club, my experience in utilizing the cosmopolitan Identity players club program has been challenging including ability to use online booking tools or see marketing offers, lack of marketing offers in comparison to competitors, and lack of competitive tier benefits that do not reward players at the same level of your competitors.

Example as a Total Rewards Diamond Player who achieves 100,000 TR level points I find the Total Rewards offering for a player at my level stronger then current Identity club gold benefits. Additionally the few times I tried to take advantage of promotion offerings I found the dates blacked out, comps available at Platinum Benefits (50,000 + pts) always seemed to have to go thru a host for review creating challenges in using earned benefits thru the program (paraphrasing for other board members).

What changes are you making to raise the value of the Identity club brand to players like myself, who have long established relationships with your competitors and are you focused on our player segment?

Example of current Identity Gold Benefits for Players

Identity Gold Benefits (20,000 + pts)
Two complimentary room nights per year.*
Two complimentary companion room nights per year.*
    Complimentary resort fee.
2X slot multipliers all day, every day.**
    One in-room movie per visit.
2-for-1 dining and priority access at Wicked Spoon per day.
2-for-1 concert tickets including express entry.*
    2-for-1 special event tickets.
Dedicated VIP hotel reservations line located on your Identity Membership Card.
Early Check-in and Late Check-out when available.

Welcome to the board Kevin, we are glad to have you. I will certainly be contacting you as just last trip my wife was mentioning that Aria had gotten a bit stale for us. We have drop in gambled at your resort in the past, but would love to give it a full trip shot. My only concern mirrors that of Funk above, that at time (specifically after 7 pm) there is an issue with non gaming visitors crowding out the slot floor up front and slowing the cocktail service to a crawl. One thing we always count on at Aria is stellar cocktail service, but their location off the strip greatly reduces foot traffic which in turn creates less "distractions" for the cocktail staff. We are typically Tuesday thru Saturday visitors so that helps but I'm sure others hold the same concerns. Again we are glad to have you on the board and ecstatic to have a chance to stay at your hotel without having to rely on back end comps. See you soon!

Welcome, Kevin. Good to see Cosmopolitan reaching out to the VMB community.

Certainly, The Monkey Man's endorsement is gold. But I thought I'd chime in as well.

I was in the process of planning my spring trip last night and saw Kevin's post so I figured I'd send him a message. I forwarded him an offer I had recently received, we chatted a bit and came to quick agreement. A host is supposed to contact me today to finalize everything.

Kevin was very responsive and easy to work with.
