So I'm a big MLife person and I have a trip coming up at the MGM Grand in March. Looking forward to it and it's going to be great!

    That being said...

I haven't gambled at a CET property in over a year but I was thinking about checking out their casinos this trip on my last day (i haven't been to a Vegas CET property in a couple years).

If I wanted to start getting some offers from CET again (I still have me TR card/account) will gambling for one day be enough to generate offers or do they like to see play over time?

Is there any particular ADT needed to trigger comp room offers?

Also, What CET casinos would you recommend I check out? I love the atmosphere at the MGM Grand if that is any guide. Always looking for friendly dealers and good electronic table games.

I was in a similar position to you - many years loyal to mLife, but no CET play at all for almost 2 1/2 years. In November, finally gave a shot of High Card Flush at Linq. Played about 1 hour at 25/hand. Also, about 1 hour of slots (maybe $750 coin in or so).

After getting back from trip, now I have almost all weekdays comp at all lower end CET casinos (and some higher end), and a few weekends to boot. I think they were pretty desperate to bring me back (also threw in about $25 food credit). I have 15 days booked in 2016 (although probably will only use about 5).

I know that my case is unique as far as such little play, and wide variety of comps - but it was a prolonged period of time without any play at all?

What level of offer are you looking for?

The bar to get something is very low, and the CET calculation for ADT seems to care mostly about the past 18 months (2 years max). So one day's play would probably get you rolling again, depending on just how much of an offer you want. It would get stuff coming up in the calendar anyway.

Then again, if you used to play there, you might STILL have comps in your calendar regardless.

Yeah...it's been a while. I mean only ever dropped a dollar or two at Caesar's like three years ago.

Minimal play two years ago at a regional property. Since then, nada.

It's encouraging that you got some offers so fast. I know with MLife things take a while to generate.

Just wondering since my "prior play" was so low/non-existent if that might hurt future offers.

Yeah I checked my calendar and there is nothing other than the general New Year's "discounts" for all.

What level of offer? Ideally some free rooms for two/three days.

When you say the bar is "low" how low are we talking?

As low as I rolled a couple of months ago.

I do have a history with CET before the 2 1/2 year hiatus, however, nothing High Roller type. Only table games at that point as well, and, as is well documented, CET treats table game players like garbage. I am thinking that my slot play was the key, since one hour of low roller table game means nothing.

Back on their radar = free rooms for almost all weekdays!!

I have no idea if your history has any influence, but my wife, my brother and his wife all started gambling during the last years with TR and between 500 and 1000 coin-in over 3 days shows already the mentioned comped days in the calendar at the lower end. All within just one visit

Just watch the actual spend. Put all the play on a single day, vs two days for example. You will look like a slightly larger player.

I used to get free rooms and a small bit of free play thanks to my craps and blackjack play. This was back in 2011-2013. Vegas trips combined with play at Harrah's outside of Philly and I could get three nights at any prop except Caesar's.

Thanks to a hiatus from Vegas for 18mo the offers dried up.

Back in July I ended up playing a little bit at Paris while waiting for a friend to get ready. Lost about $700 in craps in like 30 minutes. Later that night we hit up Bally's and I ended up with a nice run thanks to a couple hot shooters. I think I played there for two hours and while I should have walked when I had a rack full of chips I was drunk and pissed it all back. I also played at PH for a little bit (lost around $500 I think).

As soon as I got back I started getting free rooms and had a host from Bally's calling. I got SB party offers and even was offered four nights at any prop even Caesar's...but with only a small amount of FP and food.

So it looks like they are quick to get people back onto their radar

With CET you are much better off not having played for over 2 years and then showing one day of strong play.
