So I have a dilemma and wanted to get thoughts/ideas from the Board.

Just got word that one of my favorite mlife hotels is going to start flat betting me at BJ (only the one hotel, not all of them). I am not happy with this news because it makes me not want to play there anymore. But I still like a lot of what this hotel has to offer. So I am considering my options:

*Play at other mlife hotels. Not sure how I feel about this idea because I am not happy with the company generally after the flat betting news and I am not sure I want to give them my money. If I stopped playing at mlife hotels entirely, I would leave a lifetime winner. Plus, I still have about $17k in express comps I could use.

*Play more at Cosmo. I like Cosmo and it was one of my go to resorts until my little dust up with my host last November after a low play trip. Maybe I should call her and make nice.

*Play more at Wynn. I don't like the gambling as much at Wynn and I don't like that they typically do not comp my spa charges, but otherwise they take good care of me. Probably because I am a six figure lifetime loser there, lol.

*Play more at Venetian. Rarely stay there and my host is not responsive. Still, maybe I need to start giving it more of a shot.

*Play more at CP. I hate my host there. And I don't like the property as much as the mlife options. Still, if I'm not going to play at mlife anymore ....

So I'm kind f venting with this post but also would appreciate anybody's thoughts/ideas. Thanks

See if you win a few times they do this to you. I'm of course biased against Mlife casinos for the most part but mainly because of crap like this. I say move on...you can get lucky anywhere...

Cosmo. ..I've recently decided that even though I like Vdara?
I'd rather just pay cash than play at Aria

I'm with Nate. Use up your comps and move on. CP probably isn't a good fit for you since they have shit double deck rules.

UKFanatic You know how I feel about MLIFE. If they make you flat bet at one property they will make it to more and more properties later. Better to move on now and use up the comps. I did that. My host at MLIFE is great but when she told me about MGM's changes and PGP. I think it is time to move on to another property. Just be glad you are a life time winner with them. Take the money and go to another property.

Play where you win and where they will comp your play.

I would use up your comps and then take your business elsewhere.

It may be a feeling out period until you find another place to get comfortable but I would rather do that and see what else is out there rather than give a nice chunk of business to a place that obviously doesn't respect you as a customer.

Why would they decide to do that? Because you win?

The CET books not taking bets on teasers because people won didn't sit well with me and now this is another version of them being petty about someone winning. They are in the gaming business and sometimes they lose. But it appears now when they take losses they'd rather act like babies.

Since you dig Cosmo use that as homebase and then branch out a bit.

Nate, I thought about you when this happened to me. I'm nowhere near your level, so I was a bit surprised that they would apply their bean counting to my play. I have won there three of the last four years, but I was a six figure loser in 2014 so I did not expect this kind of crap. I can imagine the frustration you felt at your level of play dwarfs mine!

So does Wynn. Whenever I play at CP or there, I end up playing the shoe game.

The good news is that I just got off the phone with my Cosmo host and it went very well. We had a little dust up by email a few months back when I felt she was complaining too much about a low play trip I gave them (even though I was still down five figures at Cosmo for that year). So I was not sure how much she really wanted me as a customer. But the call went great. I told her I was frustrated with MGM and wanted to discuss booking some upcoming trips at Cosmo. I suggested we speak next week when I am in town at Aria's SB party and she immediately encouraged me to ditch the Aria party and she would get me a couch at the Cosmo party as well as a terrace suite. Told her I would think on that. The aria party was so good last year that I want to do it again. I am now considering taking all my upfront comps next week, low or no playing Aria, plat at Cosmo instead, and burn that mlife bridge. Not sure yet, but that is how I am feeling at the moment

I just don't get Mlife anymore. I think there are some of us who just want to tell them to pound sand.

Yeah, I just don't understand. I lost big at MGM properties in 2014 and was down most of 2015, until I pounded them hard in the fourth quarter of the year. I hit them again for a fair amount during two trips over the past month, but nothing huge. And if they reviewed my play, they would see that multiple times I was chasing to catch up. Oh well, time to move on

Go to Cosmo. Or at least put your play there.
Do the party at Aria if your prefer that - and play a little, but not much.
Do most of your big food, drink and spa at Bellagio or Aria, but low or no-play them.
Just keep playing a little at Mlife when you want, but focus play elsewhere.
Take the last few comp offers you can get out of them. Don't do anything to risk all those Express Comps and just burn through them.
    Have fun.

$17K in EC will cover quite a few spa days!

lol, that's the plan. I'm more concerned about them taking them away before I can burn through them all

Well you know mgm took all of my ec's a couple weeks ago with a $6500 avg. Still salty about that but thinking they are trying to take the ec's away from table players.

You know I don't like to side with the casinos, but you know you were overcomped heavily that trip. Would you rather them charge you real money on your credit card? You had great food, made money, had fun. That's the best case scenario!

I am a low roller and Mlife has pissed me off (nonsmoking hotels, charging for parking, stupid rules like I cant room charge at the pool without ID, nickel and diming everywhere). If they are pissing off the high rollers too, maybe they should take a look at themselves. That's not good.

Save the salt for your driveway. Shake it off and bring the positive juju for Vegas.
