When I stay at a MLife property my host wants me to gamble and eat just at her property. Is it the same with CET. I am staying at Bally's and plan on dining at various CET properties and would also like to gamble at various properties but will this have an impact on the host reviewing my play before checkout? Should I only gamble and dine at Bally's for max comp action...any advice I would appreciate

I believe you can eat/gamble at any CET property and it all counts. That is one of the things I like about CET. I like knowing I can move from place to place. In reality I rarely venture out of where I am staying lol.

for CET it doesn't seem to matter, for mLife?, best to play where you stay as far as comps are concerned

but play to win first, not just comps

If you have an actual host then your play at her property reflects on how well she is doing her job. She can offer you more things at her property. You will still earn points at other properties within the group, but it sounds like your relationship is well beyond just redeeming points.

Any comps are based on play. Low play means low comps. At MGM, they tend to comp better if you play at the casino where the decision making host is based. You will build Express comps for slot play at all MGM casinos.

Just play and eat at any cet property regardless where you are staying.

Yeah, what they said. Can I answer "It depends"?

Is your trip set up through a host at Bally's? If so, they are going to want you to do most of your play and charging there. If you're just using points on your TR card, I'm not sure it matters.

This has not been my experience. My host is based at Bally's or Paris, I don't remember which one but one of them is in his email signature. My last trip I didn't spend one second in either place. I stayed and played at the Cromwell. For my upcoming trip he put me at the Cromwell again and gave me more free play than he did my last trip so he doesn't seem to care that I didn't play at his home base.

And when I contacted him to arrange this trip I told him I preferred the Cromwell but would stay at another CET property if he could get me a better offer at a different place. He didn't even try to get me to stay somewhere else. Just replied "All set I put you at the Cromwell, the free play I could give you would be the same anywhere else". So he made zero effort to try to influence where I stay.

My CET host said he can book me at any property and I can play at any property each trip.

It's different from Mlife in that way.

However, as long as you have enough play at your home Mlife casino, they do look at your play across all of them in terms of comps and discounts.

This is what I am always curious about. For example, I normally stay at Luxor, however, most of my play is at NYNY. When it comes time on the last day of stay to check to see what can be taken off, they generally take all resort fees and most charges off, even though I probably focus only about 20% of my play at Luxor.

So I assume that my offers at Luxor may be downgraded eventually. Of course, the amount of charges taken off depend on my hours play per day and coin-in, but with other mLife properties grouped together.

This is one of the reasons we switched from MLife to CET.

+1 for preferring the CET way.

If I wanted to stay and play at one casino I could just go to the local mega-casino that is but an hour drive away.
