MyVegas cancelling a room

So I reserved a room at mirage but would now like to cancel. Is it possible to cancel a room once you already booked and reserved it? I couldn't find anything on their website about it.

 

Yes, you can cancel it but you will not get your Myvegas points refunded.

 

I do think you could possibly change dates though, that way you wold not lose your points. I am not 100% on that though.

 

How would this prevent me from losing points?

 

you wouldn't lose the points as you would be using them for another date (possibly).

 

I've had to cancel a room, you lose your LP and lose being able to use that reward til they restock it the next time around

 

Damn... I really wanted to change from mirage to Beliagio. i wonder if I call, they would do that for me. staying at cosmo and wanted to add an extra night to the end of the trip.. belagaio is closer than mirage (my mistake there)

 

MyVegas does not have free rooms for Bellagio so I would say there is no chance they would do that for you.

 

Be sure to cancel your room, though. I had to cancel at the Mirage and if you do not cancel within 72 hours of the date you are scheduled to stay, you may be responsible for one night's charges. At least, that's what they dol me.

 

I had to cancel one and lost the points also.

 

Well that solves my dilemma lol
