Just Booked my first ALL Downtown trip

May 19 to 28th.
Five days at the Plaza (thanks Yolla!) and four at the D.
Hope the Plaza pool is open by then!
So happy!

 

You have 2 good in house food choices. We ate at Andiamo at the D, and had 1 meal and 1 happy hour visit at Oscars in the Plaza a few weeks ago. Both were great!

 

Sweet!! We were going to have our first DT stay this next trip, but our stay got shortened. Definitely 2 nights next time. Enjoy your stay!!

Way to go Blonde! If I were a betting person ?????, I'd wager that the pool, probably all pools, will be open by then.

 

I just said that because they are renovating the Plaza pool.

Will also be downtown at the same time. Booked into Four Queens from the 16th until the 27. Follow your trip information on your board 4 ever vegas. Maybe we can finally meet. I am also a Canadian - Dundas.

 

I seem to recall threads about the Plaza pool being redone a year ago! Anyway, a quickie Goggle brought up "... an extensive, multi-million dollar pool renovation will begin Jan. 4, and the space should reopen sometime in the summer." Good luck!

In fact I held last Spring's LasVegas4ever.com meet in their Parlour bar.

Flamboro- I haven't decided whether or not to hold an official meet in May...but I will certainly exchange cell phone numbers with you and maybe we can connect.

 

Love the downtown as well as a few off strip casinos.

 

Will you get bus passes to visit the strip?

 

I enjoyed my stay at the Plaza over the weekend and spent some time at the D as well. some of my friends stayed at the D..

Yolla told me the pool might be open when I return in May. I had a view of the pool area over the weekend and it wasn't too appealing (and the trash bags on the former tennis court didn't help). I'm looking forward to the changes!
