Received an email from Mlife last night with an offer for 3 days at the Atlantis in the Bahamas. Offer included $100 free play and $100 resort credit. This offer couldn't have come at a better time as the wife and I were trying to plan a 3 day getaway next month to celebrate my 40th birthday.

Question is I wonder what there is expectation of play will be? Of course I will give them some action every day but not looking to travel all the way down there to sit at the tables for 4hrs per day.

As you may or may not know from some of my post I get those all the time. I get better accommodations from my host but, I would suggest to use them as they are good for people without a host. Sometimes you can get airfare as well. If you play at 200 a hand or more may I suggest acquiring a host. Have fun.

I have used them several times. My wife's offers are a little less than mine but so is her play. We usually spend the days out at the beach or pool and gamble a few hours at night. Probably less gambling than when we are in Vegas. We get the offers every year. Be sure to check before you leave they usually help with any charges to the room over the mailer credit. Also, check the towers you stay in. I believe it's the coral and royal towers that are connected to the casino. The others are nicer rooms but a long way from, and not attached to the casino. The place is huge.

I got a similar offer yesterday, too.

    • 4 Complimentary Nights in the Royal Towers and up to 3 Additional Nights at a Special Casino Rate
    • $100 Free Slot Play
    • Access to Aquaventure our one of a kind 141 acre waterscape with 20 swimming areas and 11 pools
    • Now – March 13, 2016 OR April 4 – June 30, 2016

I was a bit surprised since I didn't make to Vegas at all last year. I have my doubts I can us this as my finances are a bit tight and I don't have a passport (I know, that can be fixed),

I just noticed MGM Grand increased the FP on my spring "The Buzz" offer to $175, up from $100 on fall and winter offers (3 nights comped grand tower room, $200 RC and 2 comped KA tickets stayed the same).

Yeah, I am curious if there are play requirements. I was planning on taking my family down there on my offer and would likely not play at all. I read several references about upfront offer in the the fine print, so I would think that they wouldn't rescind. Would still have to pay $100/night (50 for each extra guest) for my two kids, but that's no big deal. Still is a great deal if everyone thinks it is worth the trip.

Is M Life affiliated in some way with Atlantis? I fell off M Life's e-mail list a LONG, LONG, time ago - so I never get notified of "M Life" offers like this. Can someone share with me the number to call to book the offer so I can call to see if I have an offer? Does this show up on the M Life site?

    Thanks.

Mine is for the executive director of special events and marketing, Patrick McCann, so it looks like contacts vary based on level of offer or where you live.

Anyone know how they are towards slot players I am gonna use the offer in April

I have a slot friend who says he uses a marketing company to go on his and gets some better up front comps then what is listed.

Is the meal plan worth it per person packer??? We dont eat a huge breakfast usually so seems like it would be a loss for us and better to just charge to the room and hope it get's compd off at the end.

Yeah i found some of these peoples names listed in the email and they are all marketing people and not onsite host at all if you go to the atlantis host website.

No, don't do the meal plan. Not worth it. If you want/need a host call me.

I think Patrick McCann works out of Mandalay Bay, pretty sure I got drunk with him and my host a few NYE's ago.

I wouldn't do the food package, but do be prepared for pretty ridiculous pricing on most of the restaurants. My wife and I typically don't do breakfast either (at most just a quick bite of fruit or a muffin or something). Not doing the food package also allows you to go explore outside of the property if you want as well. I'd recommend the Dune bar at the One & Only club for a cocktail or two, awesome atmosphere.

There are three resorts and one hotel on the island. There's Riu (craphole), One & Only (awesome), Atlantis and then a Comfort Inn or something. Interestingly, you apparently get free access to Atlantis waterpark if you stay at that Comfort Inn hotel, so a lot of cruise ship people get a room just for the access because it's cheaper, but don't use the room. It can be pretty sketchy around Nassau in some parts, but there are some options out there. Other than those resorts and the golf course at O&O there isn't really anything on Paradise Island. Atlantis is huge though and there's quite a bit to do around there. Atlantis reminds me a lot of MB.

Hi, I got this offer, too. I've never been to the Bahamas and would really like to go. Has anyone booked this yet? Any "catches" to the offer? Thanks for any help.
