Does anyone know if you hit a 1200+$ hit if theres tax withheld on these table games that play like slots (sort of)
That's a good question. I'd like to know as well. On table games no tax is withheld. Yet the only difference between these games is the absence of a human dealer. Craps is the same way.
Just a guess, but I think the answer is no. The tax withholding requirements is triggered by the amount won, but also it has to be a game with certain odds (longer shots). There is no wager in roulette that has those odds
It's really annoying as the wheel will keep spinning while you wait for an attendant to pay you. We didn't know this until my friend had bet $600 on red and won and his terminal froze up. He was pissed.
Is it on a single wager or all wagers? Like if you had $300 on Even and $300 on Red? And both wagers win.
Total noob question here, but do you have to get a w2g every time, or just for the whole session? What if you're placing repeated multiple-$100 wagers? You have to wait for an attendant each time it pays out?
Each time the hit is over $1200. It's not even a $1200 win. If you bet $600 on red and it hits, the machine will lock up and you have to wait for an attendant.
Laws don't necessarily sync up with common sense like this... plus the casino wants you to be able to bet into the higher ranges on such a -EV game im thinking. On the other hand, I often see banks of these empty... Whats to stop someone from just playing $500 on red on 2 machines to bet $1000? Also, does anyone know with certainty if you cash out over $1200 that there is no W2G? Just wins, correct? (Ex: I put in $500, win $500 then win $500 again on a second spin, and hit cashout for $1500 TITO)
Are you saying if you bet high and win (and it's under $1200) one should cash out before betting high again? I think that's a good idea.
I think its a good idea regardless, but what I'm trying to figure out is whether or not its NECESSARY. I'm thinking its actually not -- but want to confirm the behavior of these machines by someone with firsthand experience. As in, we all know it should be a $1200 win and multiple $500 wins (even 100 of them) should not have an impact, as in no W2G but who knows for sure??
