The casinos in PA are pretty good at looking for kids in the casino parking garages and the police have a no excuse policy.

Can't leave your kids/pets in the car in the summer, can't leave your kids/pets in the car in the winter. Just when IS it ok to leave your kids alone in the car??!?

It is insane that it has happened so often that they have to do this.

just this thursday at harrahs new orleans, my girl goes outside to smoke and i follow along, she said "that kid better not still be out here" sure enough, its 45 degrees with 50+ humidity and this lil asian kid is in shorts and a t-shirt on the bench under a heater playing his phone...we walk over and he goes and sits on the other bench without a heater...we ask if hes cold, he said yes...we made him get back under the heater, he was 14, from out of state and said his parents do this all the timehe was real polite and said they been in there a few hours...my girl had him call his parents and the mom came out and was acting like she couldnt speak english. so my girl made the boy translate to his mom and she had the car pulled up in valet and left

Thats 'Jersey Dumb " at it's finest. Talk about lowlifes. I 've wanted to bring up "Texas Dumb " also as regards whoever let that little rich shitbag Ehtan Couch off the hook.
If he killed my wife and daughter and got away with it he'd go missing but would never surface at a disco in Mexico.

Even, I have the sense to drop them off at Mcdonalds to play in the piss play area, before I hit my a poker tournament.

A cop told me that he had to reply to a call about a child left in a vehicle last week. The neighbor found it odd that he was alone in the car of his own apartment complex. It turned out that he lived in a studio and his single mother left him in the car while so he wouldn't be in the room while she was having sex.

At Wynn one time I saw a kid sitting on the floor in the walkway leaning against a post playing on an I-pad. Maybe 8 or 9 years old?

One of the saddest sights I ever saw in a casino was when I was at Circus Circus (yeah, I know) and a woman was playing slots with her daughter (who wasn't more than 5 or 6) by her side. When the Security guard said that her daughter couldn't be on the casino floor, instead of leaving, she sent her daughter to stand along the public walkway, while she continued playing. Some people should NOT be parents.

This is one of the reasons i HATE going and hardly ever go to locals around here. Just a different breed of ppl. This has happened here locally also and usually on the local news, look up maryland live casino.

I was in New Orleans and posted a pic of the lobby at midnight and there was a little girl on the sofa sleeping Broncofn calls me 5 secs after i posted the pic asking where the little girls parents are. I told them they are in the counter checking in and the girl just crashed on the sofa. He was about to call the police.

But yes I do see kids at the Casinos. I've taken my dog to the casino but my dog is never left alone. He is either in the room or with someone out side for a walk or walking around.

Oh, my host in Vegas and other casinos know this and will have a Pet friendly room and one has a Pool Villa ready with a full yard if the dog comes, but for some reason my dog really likes to do his business on the Bellagio's Grass. Good Boy.

A 9 year old with an iPad in the hallway of a 5 star resort isn't a concern. At 10, my cousin and I ran free in the malls, going to movies and hitting the food courts, so we're getting a bit hypersensitive here. Leaving young, 4 or 5 year old kids unattended in a car in the casino parking lot with greenhouse effect heat concerns in the summer, cold in the winter and zero supervision is the lowest of low, and a different level of poor parenting.

Not sure of the wisdom of letting the Internet raise your kid, but I suppose that's a different topic. :)
