Gaming revenue in Nevada increased 7.8% to $944.27M in November.Las Vegas Strip revenue was 5.4% higher at $535.6M. Downtown Las Vegas revenue soared 25% during the month.VIP baccarat was down 14% to $110M as deflated high-roller traffic from Asia factored in again.

Solid numbers. High end Bacc was up over October.

I wonder how many posts would have been in this thread if the gaming numbers were down 5.4% on the strip.

Great point...the Downtown numbers were beyond impressive. Clearly the casinos downtown are on to something.

The report refers to total “gaming win” but the business articles refer to "total gaming revenue". In my mind "gaming win" is profit (hold) whereas gaming revenue represents dollars wagered. So which is it? I know it's a silly question but if the casinos hold rate rate is higher than normal is possible to have an increase in "total hold" with flat revenues.

So give me a break, this is my first stupid question of the year.:poke:
