    Hey Guys!

My name's sergi0wned and I'm a 21 year old guy (celebrating my 22nd in Vegas come January!). I'm from Minnesota, but go to school in Colorado.

I come from a drinking state (Minnesota) and a gambling family (slot junkie Grandma and a VP playing Grandpa), so it's no surprise that the first thing I did when I turned 21 was head to Vegas! I've been to Vegas 2 times since, and am looking forward to my fourth trip next month!

I'm graduating with a degree in History - Political Science and looking forward to starting a real job. I enjoy skiing, working out, watching college hockey, and cheering for all of my (losing) Minnesota sports teams. My favorite casino games are Blackjack, Video Poker, the occasional slot or craps, and Roulette if I really feel like blowing some money (but my all time favorite is good ol' Sigma Derby!).

I'll be browsing the forum in anticipation of my trip, looking for fun ideas for my next trip (bringing my two best friends out for their first trip ever).

Welcome to the Board! A Rocky Mountain "hi" to you!

I live just "behind the Cheddar Curtain," but I root for the MN teams--growing up that's all we got on TV.
Have a great trip with your friends!

Nice! Cheer loud for me! I've never been to a Vikes game... my mom had bought tickets for the Giants game back when we had the Dome and Brett Favre, then the roof collapsed, and she didn't want to go to TCF (cold baby) so she took the refund haha.

For sure man! It's actually my first game at TCF or anywhere outdoors for that matter. Supposed to be a sunny 21 degrees for Sunday so it could be much worse haha.

Absolutely! Lemme know how it is, I've never seen an outdoor game myself. I'm going to the CC/DU outdoor game at Coors Field in Denver come February and I'm excited!

Welcome.....another Minnesotan here. Been a wonderful mild winter so far.....temps today were around 30. Not good for skiers, ice fishers, snowmobilers, etc.....but I am loving it.

Thank you! I'm loving the temps. I was worried about coming home from CO, but it's actually been warmer here for the most part! I ski out in CO, but not here, so I can't complain at all. I hope it keeps up for your and my mom's sake.

Wisconsin native but I lived in Winona for 4 years and I make a yearly trip up to New Ulm. Know a lot of people up in the Twin Cities, ends up being a lot of jobs there, but I'm not cut out for the traffic. Currently residing south in the banana belt (Iowa).

Have you ventured to any of the Colorado casino towns? Always been an interest of mine but have yet to take a trip out, hard to pull the trigger on that than just go back to Vegas again.

Awesome! I know the traffic all too well, but luckily it's not too horrible on 94.

I took an overnight to Cripple Creek after winning a free room at a hockey game. It was very small and barely compared to Vegas. It was nice to get some table action and free drinks (the locals in MN don't comp drinks unless you're high rolling). Unfortunately, I didn't win anything (I did hit back to back 4OAKs at bartop poker, but I quickly drained it in craps). I also had vouchers for free meals from the aforementioned hockey game, though, so that lessened the pain a bit. I'd like to stop by Blackhawk on my way back from skiing one day to compare it, I just need to convince a friend with a car!

If you ever do make it out to CO let me know! I'd be happy to meet up and get some gambling in (I'm even a tour guide at school, so I could give you a tour of the area!)
