Two days ago I tripped on the last two steps going down to the basement. I put out my hand to break the descent and sprained my wrist, or so I thought. This morning I woke up in a lot of pain and the wrist was really turning some unusual colors, so off to the clinic. Damnit! Broken wrist and a cast going all the way to my elbow. Just no way I want to deal with that in Vegas and traveling in general. Only my second broken bone in 63 years. At least the flight was on SWA, so I just changed to an arbitrary date in March for now, so I don't lose EB.

The arm is in a sling and one-handed typing is a bitch.

That's one of those nightmares I think we all have right before a Vegas trip. I'm always paranoid right before a vacation about "trip disrupting" events. Wife says I'm just paranoid.

Hate it for you Joe. Hope you heal up.

Boo Hiss!!! I hate having to make those decisions, but you know Vegas will still be there when you're all healed up.

Now I just must resist the urge to make dirty jokes about your one-handed typing skills. :wink2:

    Feel better!

GWS! That does bring up a question: If you have shows prepaid for are you outta luck or do they show some mercy if you have a death in the family or illness or the like?

    Sorry to hear this, Joe.
Two months ago - i was hustling down my basement stairs ( which are full
of crap ! ).....and I tripped.
Braced my fall with my hand ( like you ) ---
but I got lucky !.....I fell on top of some cardboard box full of paper goods ( soft ! )
it was the only thing that saved me.........my wrist did hurt for a week.
    *
Now.......was it your VP wrist ?
Tell Jose to save you machine #1.
