Doesn't seem very Paris-like, but it makes more sense to have a more casual place open during the day rather than a nightclub that doesn't open til 10:00 pm -- a waste of space all day, not to mention a waste of prime strip property.

Remember when they didn't want you to view the strip from their casino, thinking you would leave?

Confirmed: Beer Park by Budweiser Arrives at Paris Las Vegas in Early 2016
    by Susan Stapleton/www.vegas.eater.com

Beer Park by Budweiser finally confirms Eater Vegas’ August news that it was taking over Chateau’s former rooftop at Paris Las Vegas with a rooftop bar and grill. The 10,000-square-foot deck that overlooks the Las Vegas Strip plans to serve up more than 100 draft, can and bottles of brews along with 36 beers on tap. Craft beer cocktails, regular cocktails and wines on tap are all part of the drinks menu that includes bloody Marys. Guests will sit at picnic tables to watch sports.

Matthew Silverman of Vintner Grill and the 24-hour Hexx, just downstairs from the beer park location, is behind the project.

The grill side of the bar plans to serve American dishes and serve some food from “roaming carts serving concession-style offerings.”

The “Budweiser Beechwood Grill” adds beer flavors to “anything from burgers, brisket, ribs or sausages.” For example, the bratwurst gets a Goose Island IPA marinade while the pickles are prepared using Stella Artois. The menu also plans to feature recommended beer pairings. On the dessert side of the menu, expect funnel cakes and an ice cream cart.

Chicago-based design firm Gensler is behind the baseball stadium atmosphere here that includes communal tables. Guests access the bar via a spiral staircase. A grass lawn features classic bar games such as pool, bean bag toss and darts. Along the railing overlooking the Strip find high-top tables. The center of the space contains a rectangular bar with space for 200. Overall, 500 guests can fit in the space outfitted in wood with metal accents.

The taps here keep the beer at 31 degrees, while cold “plates” at each seat of the bar to keep beers cool. A retractable awning for the summer and heaters during the winter keep it comfortable.

Beer Park plans to be open daily from lunch through late night, becoming a strictly bar setting for the 21 and over crowd at 10 p.m. Expect an early 2016 opening.

Bud doesn't equal craft beer. Goose Island & Stella Artois are crap mass produced AB InBev products.

I think it will do very well. These types of places, Diablos, Margaritaville, the two places at PH, Carnival Court all seem busy when I pass by. People like the hang outside, drink beers, eat cheap food and listen to decent music or watch music.

The atmosphere will be ideal for watching football games and other sporting events, with towers on each side of the bar housing dozens of high-definition televisions, which offer premium views of the game from any seat.
Beer Park will be open daily from lunch through late night, transitioning into a bar setting for guests 21 and over at 10 p.m., with early morning openings along with breakfast for football and other morning sporting events.
Sounds like a big sports bar, not so much music videos.

How to take a cool idea, and make it far less cool with corporate partnerships.

Has anyone heard any update as to the timing of the opening?

There appeared to be some changes starting when we were there in October. This sounds like a great addition to Paris for us non-club types.

Yeah, I meant to write "watch sports". I assume if there's not sports on TV, it will be more music centric like PBR.

Lots of beer snobs will only drink beers if they are produced in miniscule quantities by breweries that only a few people have ever heard of. As soon as they become mainstream and produced in larger quantities, even though the recipe stays the same, they become garbage.

    :rolleyes2:

Ballast Point was sold for $1,000,000,000. That's a big B. Sculpin still rocks.

VW owns Porsche, I believe Dr. Ferd's herd is still a bueno marque.

Budweiser would be the exact same stuff no matter who made it. (Real Czech brand exempted.)

All hops, malts and water are not the same. Look at Chipotle to see how those "same" ingredients change as you get bigger.

EXACTLY!! I am friends with many actual brewers here locally, Roughtail, Anthem, Elk Valley, Prairie, just to name a few and not a damn one would pass the money up if offered it, the only exception I can think of is Greg from Stone who is fairly batshit crazy as it is.
