Suekel Semi Live TR Dec 12-15 Bally's and Cosmo

Well, after what seemed like an interminable wait, it's finally here!! We fly out tomorrow morning on SWA non stop from Austin. Had Early Bird and got A28 and 29 when I checked in earlier today. Our last trip was back in May with our niece and nephew and we had a great time and actually came home winners! This trip is just me and the husband. We also went just us two last February, so this is our third visit for 2015.

Yesterday at work I entered all my vacation and personal days for the rest of the year and realized I had one more vacation day unallocated, so I took today off and am packing etc at a nice leisurely pace. Husband is working so we'll get him packed up when he gets home.

First night is at Bally's, followed by two nights at Cosmo, all 3 nights comped, save for the dang resort fees. Cosmo room is a Terrace Studio and I am prepared to pay extra for a fountain view if needed.

Only set plans are dinner at Table 10 followed by Rock of Ages on Monday night. Loose plans including watching my Patriots stomp the Texans (not a popular stance to have here in Austin) on Sunday evening, and maybe early cocktails at Hyde tomorrow night, before it becomes clubby.

I'm expecting tomorrow night to be pretty busy in terms of crowds due to the UFC fight(s?) but hopefully things will calm down a bit on Sunday. Thank god we are getting out of town Tuesday before the debate - if I were to bump into a certain wombat haired candidate I might end up on a Secret Service watch list after losing my cool.

As in past trips, our play will be about 60% VP, 20% slots and 20% tables. Any good chip or slot porn will absolutely get a photo, and I'll try to get some food porn in here too.

A couple pre trip pictures to follow, and I will try to update regularly and post lots of pictures during our stay. This is the second time I'm starting a TR right as SuperPocky is finishing one and he's an awfully hard act to follow!! I may steal his "Where am I or what game is this" picture game, that was fun.

 

Bankroll is done and envelopes ready to be torn open.

I think I've finally convinced my husband to try craps on this trip. He's always been intimidated by it, but a friend at the bar just told him about hitting a fire bet with $15 on it and winning a crap ton of money and he's intrigued.
