Has anyone been at the new Hooters at the Palms for a football Sunday? Do you need reservations? Any specials? Any feedback would be helpful...Thanks!

I'll be at the Palms for SNF... Pats vs Texans in less than 2 weeks. I'll let you know.

Checked it out this morning, but It was closed and roped off. Maybe they do something big here for football games? but it looked like a typical video poker bar when I walked by it last night.

I'll be there on the 20th. The sportsbook there used to be very good and even better after they remodeled, but Cantor took it over so I never go anymore. I can let you know how my visit goes in a couple weeks as it looks like that is inside your timeline.

Much appreciated. I'll be there NFC/AFC Championship weekend, looking for somewhere to watch the games.

I'll actually be at the game. It's the night before I go to Vegas. I won't get home till about 11:30pm. I have a 6:15am flight the next morning.

I just checked it out. It was open at 1 PM on Wednesday, and I will assume it was open to serve lunch.

If you know the old garduno's restaurant it is the exact same floor plans. When garduno's closed, Cantor turned it into Herea Sports Bar. It was a flop and maybe lasted seven months.

The second floor is the VIP area and I only saw wooden chairs and wooden tables. With some more TVs.

There are lots of TVs but I did not see a HUGE screen anywhere.

I did not see any comfy chairs anywhere, just wooden tables and wooden chairs. There are probably 20 video poker bartops in the main restaurant bar area, with a possibility of a few more in the back bar.

I did not go in the back bar area, as there wasn't a big crowd.

The staff wasn't sure if I could place a bet on the CG App in the restaurant, but then, I am not sure if the girls could understand what it was. That was the idea when Cantor made the Herea restaurant. The bettors would be able to bet from Herea.

My opinion, I would not prepare to watch games there unless I planned on standing and buying Hooters food and Hooters beer. I give it a resounding NO NO NO NO
