They are also running this promotion at Rio, as I posted in my last TR.

You can pay $25.00 to upgrade to the Seafood buffet

The RIO and Planet Hollywood have a promotion going on called “Play for a Buffet.” The idea is if you earn 50 Tier Credits at either property, you can cash in those Tier Credits for a free buffet. Thing is, all 50 Tier Credits must be earned at the same property as the buffet. Our tipster paperposter, caught this glimpse of the one at RIO:

    A couple of things:

First, the times are actually 6AM to 11PM. TR desks close at 11PM, so you have to get it before they close. Second, the TR rep at PH this weekend said the 50 TC will not be removed from your tier score.

I don't know of anything that removes TC except December 31.

Anyone know if this promo has been renewed? I read on a facebook page that it was going again, promo lasting until March 31. The write up I saw was a bit confusing, the poster is saying only at Caesars, here is what he said from yesterday:

    "Best poker promo ever!!
1.5 hours of poker at Caesars gives free buffet anywhere except Caesars.
It works because you earn 50 tier in the 1.5 hrs (at Caesars only, half that elsewhere)
It's not a poker only promo. Get 50 tier anyway you can, and you're in!
But many of us locals and tourists play only poker. So this is HUGE!
You have 48 hours to use voucher.
    Can obtain one per day.
Can bring friend too. (Earn one, save till tomorrow, earn 2nd one. Both go)
    Buffet at PH is great.
Cracked open king crab. Lamb. Etc.
Promo guaranteed to run through March 31st - poker room management told me."

I used the promo from last year in Dec, that one was earn 50 tier credits at PH in one day and get a free buffet at Spice Market Buffet. Could anyone enlighten me as to the real promotion this time, is the same as last year or has it actually changed? We will be in Vegas later this month and probably would take advantage of it.....

Two weeks ago I asked at PH TR desk and was told ongoing with the same 50 tier credits earned until end of March. It's a great deal and includes any buffet, even brunch. The ticket they give you is valid for 72 hours as well if I remember correctly. You can only earn one per day though.

So is it just poker or 50 t.c.'s playing anything in CET properties?

It is 50 credits playing any game. All Caeser's properties in Vegas give you 17 tier credits per hour except Caeser's palace which gives 34 per hour for poker play (3 hours vs 1.5)

You also can earn the tier credits from slots.

You get to choose on the promo kiosk either flamingo, harrahs, paris, planet hollywood or rio.

i was told you have to pay an extra $18 for the seafood upgrade at rio.

It does not matter what casino you earn the tier credits at, you can choose any of those buffets and they expire 48 hours after you print the voucher.

Source------- I have gotten three of these vouchers since the promo started on friday.

Thanks for the info! A couple of questions though:
    - how long does the promo last?
    - can you get the voucher printed at any TR desk, or do you have to get it printed off at the casino where you plan on using the voucher?
    - do all 50 tier credits have to be earned at the same casino, or could you earn say 25 at Caesars and 25 at PH?

I was told you had to earn the tier credits at PH in order to get the buffet. Would be better for me in March if that isn't right. Maybe it's changed since December. Hope so. It took me about ten minutes on Gremlins playing at $1 or thereabouts to get the 50 credits. Each time I was up at the end. Last time though stupidly I played something else whilst there and they got all their free buffet money back plus a lot more. duh.

Yes just found this in 7STAR INSIDER and it gives an easy to understand explanation

    Play, Redeem, Eat, Repeat
Through March during any gaming day (6
    a.m. through 5:59 a.m. the next day) earn 50
tier credits at any Caesars casino (or
combination of casinos), go to a Total
Rewards Center (or any of the special
promotional kiosks) and you’ll receive a
voucher for a complimentary buffet at your
choice of Flamingo, Harrah’s, Paris, Planet
Hollywood, or Rio. You’ll need to make that
    choice before printing your voucher.
The vouchers are good for 48 hours after
you redeem them, but you must claim your
voucher before the end of the gaming day in
    which you earned it.

March madness week, 3/17-20, will be buffet heaven. Thanks for sharing! The PHo ( Spice Market) is the best of this lot with Paris ( Le village) a close 2nd. I'd would have put the Rio up there but this new development of an upcharge for seafood at the Carnival World buffet has given me pause. Harrahs ( Flavors) isn't too bad either especially if you are diamond and like mimosas! Flamingo buffet needed a lot of work last time I checked!

Thanks! If I end up coming out in March for Spring Break, I'll have to take advantage of this!

I was seriously considering the 24 hour buffet pass for March madness but now this just makes it easy to get all my buffets comped for the trip.
