    My Trip Report

    Tuesday - Nov 24, 2015

We flew out of Orlando at Zero Dark 30 as in a 6:05AM Boarding cattle call. Was up at 3:00AM. The flight was longer than usual at a little over 5 hours.

    Wynn

We actually booked 2 joining rooms for this trip. They were comp’d which gave us both Free-play and Buffets. It was like having a 2 Bedroom suite with 2 Bathrooms.
So neither of us got in the others way. You don’t know how many times I’ve walked into the bathroom and got a mouthful of hairspray! So this was a nice change.

    Casinos

It’s not uncommon for us to hit at least 17 casinos during our visit but we only ventured out 1 day on this trip. More on that later…
So the places one or both of us visited on the Strip were; Wynn, Encore, Palazzo, Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio and Aria.

    Slots

She took $900 out of a Zuma and about the same amount out of a Cash Wheel. I took $500 out of a WOF and another $500 out of a Cleopatra II.
Then the rest were small $200 - $400 hits here and there. We played other machines but those seemed to be the ones paying out. We did enter
a Slot tournament at Encore where we came in 19 & 20th out of 21 so at least we were not dead last!

    Wednesday - Nov 25, 2015

After a Breakfast Buffet we picked up our reserved Rental Car at Wynn and drove to M Resort and then later we drove to Silverton since we hadn’t been there in several years.

    Casa de Shenandoah

The main reason for renting a car was to drive to Wayne Newton’s House. It has been opened to the public for about 9 weeks now. We were scheduled for 2:00PM and I purchased
the Diamond Tour for both of us which included everything in the Gold and Platinum Tours as well as a Private tour guide, Exclusive access to the Aramus Arabian’s barn, a Tour of
Wayne’s first home on the property as well as the Mansion’s private quarters, secret rooms and hidden passages.

We started across the street at the Visitor Center and watched a short Movie. Then we took a Tram onto the property. We were the only ones booked at that hour and the only ones
with Diamond tickets so I think we got some extra attention. It was dark when the tour was over! Like 4 hours! So other than spoil it for anyone I will say that you do get to see things
    the other groups do not.

One funny thing that happened was, we were looking at his Car collection but they wanted to merge us with another group so we could all see the Arabian Horses in action. So our
Tour Guide drove us from the Museum to the Horse Arena area in Wayne’ s Personal Limo. I do not know if that was really part of the tour but after seeing them exercise 2 Horses we
got back in the Limo and it wouldn’t start. Haha! So next we were tooling around his property in a Black Escalade Golf Cart! It was kind of funny.

A few things I didn’t know about the Horses is that they actually put a type of makeup on them around the Eyes and Mussel to highlight those features as well as put glitter on their backs.
And the Peacocks on property migrated from Mike Tyson's house... Wayne has never purchased a Peacock. I guess they liked his place better! I think Mike says: "I need to get my
    Peacocks back from Wayne Newton"
    in the first Hangover Movie.

    Danke Schoen

One thing I did not know is that Bobby Darin was responsible for giving Wayne his most famous song. Maybe that explains why it sounds like a Bobby Darin song. So Danke - Bobby!

    Thursday - Nov 26, 2015

As you can imagine the Thanksgiving Buffet was a madhouse! I’d never seen a line that long before! It filled the entire Buffet cue line and went all the way down the hallway. I bet the
wait had to have been hours! We ate at the Terrace Pointe Cafe. She had a 3 course Turkey Dinner with Pumpkin Pie and all the fixings. Me? Why a Grilled Cheese Sandwich on Rye
of course with a bowl of Tomato Bisque Soup.

    Friday - Nov 27, 2015

After Breakfast she checked out of her room and Jet Setted off to Burbank to visit some friends while I walked over to the Fashion Show Mall and then later to Palazzo and Venetian.
After that I was getting hungry and so I walked back to Wynn only to discover I had a $102.00 Venetian Ticket in my pocket. By now my feet were starting to hurt so I decided to go
to the room and rest a bit.

After about an hour I walked back to Palazzo to cash the ticket and decided to play a little bit. After about 40 minutes I still had the same amount only now it was $100.62 so I decided
to play off the .62 cents so I put the ticket in a “Penny” Machine and hit 5 Lines @ 10 Credits. Yep you guessed it… It was a $1 Machine and I just made a $50.00 wager! Lucky for me
I hit so now I had $116.62 so I cashed out and got the hell out of there. I ended up having a Turkey sandwich at Zooza Crackers and then played in the casino for a bit and then went
up to the room to pack and get ready for a full day of travel.

    Saturday and Sunday - Nov 28 & 29, 2015

I was up at 5:45AM. My flight began boarding at 8:05AM. I picked the little woman up at the airport on Sunday night where she tells me about all the celebrities she saw at a Golf Course she dined at.
    Must Be Nice! Haha!

    Final Note

This officially puts Trip 25 in the Books for me. While I had fun on this trip I think I'm getting Burn Out. Maybe I'll feel different around my birthday in February. We shall see.

Wow great report - I love the Zuma slot! I really want to visit Casa de Shenandoah - do they allow photography on the tour or no? Thanks for writing it up!

With the Diamond package, does Wayne invite you for dinner?

    "I'm making pasta!!!"

    Good report!

And good call on skipping the Thanksgiving buffet. My g/f, my mom, and I had thoughts of going to the Golden Corral on Thanksgiving 2013 since our family's gathering was going to be that Saturday. We changed our mind when we saw the line out the door. Went to Hollywood St. Louis instead that afternoon. Quite dead, and my g/f hit for $150 (600X bet) on a slot; much better choice!

Actually you can request a VIP Tour with Mr. Las Vegas himself which has to be scheduled in advance.
No lie! Wayne will be your personal Tour Guide. I asked how many has he done and I was told only 2
so far. One was a Tour and the other one was more of a Meet and Greet. The cost for a Small group of
6 to 8 is only $5,000.00 Total so I was told by our Tour Guide.

PS: The first Dining scene from Vegas Vacation was shot in Wayne's house. And a set was built for the Pasta / Car Crash scene.
