What do you think about 2 different properties?

I am thinking on booking 2 separate properties at different spots on the strip. I have prepaid a north end strip hotel and just received an offer of 3 comped nights in the middle of strip. I love to roam while I am there so would having a room at both places be a good idea, as I could crash wherever is closer. Has anybody had any experience with this?

Lots of folks here do it. Some have even 4 or 5 rooms booked just for the reasons you stated. Give it a go!

As long as you are gambling at the comped Hotel to justify the comp and future comps, should be good.

    I've done it twice on Comps - 2X in 2010 - Aria/Venetian & Wynn/Aria.
Then in Dec 2013 I had a room at MGM but I ended up moving to
Mandalay Bay due to us not liking MGM or the Air quality.

That's great! The more I think about it the more it seems like a good idea. Thanks for feedback.

Sure, we do it most trips. Usually more of an overlap so that we can check out when we want from the old place and already have a room at the new place. While out and about, we check into the new hotel the day or two before we are moving there.

I think we had 3 rooms one night on a trip. Can get crazy.

And, by the way, that is one of the reasons it normally is not a good idea to prepay a room elsewhere. You just never know what may happen.

    I do it everytime

When i stay on the south end i only go to casinos from Mandalay bay to PH, i save a lot of walking and when i move north i have brand new places for the rest of my trip and try not to go beyond PH

We typically book one comped casino on the strip for 3 nights then go downtown for another 3 comped nights to experience both! This year we had 2 rooms booked, one for us & one for our guests. Both comped.
